National CBD Day was August 8, but I didn’t receive my Eco Lips CBD Me till after the day. No matter. Any day can be CBD Day. In fact, I’d say 2020 and 2021 were CBD years. Everything seems to have CBD in it!
Last month, I wrote about my experience with Eco Lips Pure & Simple organic lip balm (here). It’s a 100% edible lip balm that’s perfect for kids. But I think adults who want a simple, emollient balm with a yummy scent (vanilla, raspberry or coconut) will love it, too.
Eco Lips CBD Me
A couple of weeks later, Eco Lips sent me another of their lip balms to try. Eco Lips CBD Me is a lip balm that contains 30 mg of CBD. The combination of ingredients are perfect and effective for skin care applications like lip balms. CBD Me products are made with sustainably grown CBD, cold-pressed, organic hemp seed oil, and Fair Trade Certified™ organic coconut oil and cocoa butter. The hemp is grown and processed in Oregon, and the CBD is tested by a third party to ensure that it contains 30 mg. Eco Lips CBD Me lip balms contain both hemp oil derived from the seeds of the hemp plants as well as CBD oil that is derived from the stalks, leaves and flowers of the hemp plant. CBD is an effective ingredient in skincare products because it works at the cellular level. CBD also contains antioxidants, vitamins A and D, that protect skin and in this case, the lips, from environmental stressors and free radicals.
CBD Me comes in three flavors:
- Natural (no essential oils or flavors)
- Lavender Orange
- Lavender Mint.
I have Natural and Lavender Orange, and I love them both. Lavender Orange is a mild scent that I can smell as I apply the lip balm, but once it’s on my lips, it dissipates.
Eco Lips CBD Me is more effective for my dry lips than a traditional moisturizing lip balm. The hydration I get from CBD Me is longer lasting. It leaves my lips feeling supple, smooth and healthy. Plus the balm is just so comforting.
CBD Me comes in black twist-up tubes that are a little wider than regular lip balm tube. The covers of the tubes are more like lipstick tubes than “chapstick” caps. They’re just nicer.
The recyclable tubes contain 0.15 oz. of balm, and they are priced at $7.99. Because CBD Me is a CBD product, it is sold by Eco Lips on a separate website for adults, people 18 and over. Eco Lips CBD Me is cruelty-free and Leaping Bunny certified.

Allison, Not sure if you know what a CBD advocate I am. I have a local friend who is a Hemp farmer. She makes all of her CBD products herself and is also on the Michigan Board of Hemp Farmers. I have been using her products for a couple of years. Several I don’t care for but love her skincare and bath products. I take a CBD gummy at night to help me sleep. Enjoy your products.

Yes, I remember, Sandy! It’s absolutely amazing that you are able to buy CBD products that are both locally grown but also handmade by the grower! How fortunate your are. It’s great that you can try her products and determine which suit you best. I’m jealous! And I am also jealous that CBD helps you sleep. CBD gels definitely relax me and relieve stress or anxiety, but I’m a tough customer when it comes to falling asleep. I need to try a tincture, I think, for sleep because then I will be able to adjust the amount more easily than a liquigel that has a certain amount and I don’t necessarily want to take two. Have a good Labor Day weekend!
This sounds very soothing. There are times, especially in the winter, that my lips need more than what a regular lip balm can do so this would be perfect.
