I’m late! The Fall 2019 21 Days of Beauty half price sale from Ulta Beauty started on Saturday.

Yikes, I’ve been so busy I missed the opening few days.  Hopefully, you’ve received your Ulta catalogue with the calendar of bargains in the mail already, or you may have visited the sale on the website. But just in case you haven’t seen the calendar of items on sale during the first 3 weeks in September, here they are!

An important thing to know is that Ulta has more items that are “online only” every day, and they’re not listed in the catalogue. So you really do have to go to www.ulta.com/21days to see what other items may be on sale. On Tuesday as I write this post, there are 3 products available online (Daily Beauty Steals) in addition to the 2 shown on the calendar. Plus, Ulta has finally made it less onerous to order online. You can order online, and pick up the product in store for free. And even better, Diamond and Platinum members get free shipping on the Daily Beauty Steals through the end of the 21 Days on September 21.

The items shown on the daily calendar are many of “the usual suspects” that show up in every Ulta 21 Days:

  • Tarte Lights Camera Lashes Mascara
  • Mario Badescu cleansers and rose hip oil
  • Serovital
  • Benefit Brow products and Anastasia Beverly Hills brow definer
  • Benefit POREfessional Primer
  • IT Cosmetics brushes and Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer
  • Clinique Moisture Surge
  • Smashbox Photofinish Primers
  • Urban Decay 24/7 Eye Pencils
  • Juice Beauty Serum and Moisturizer
  • Clarisonic Brush Heads
  • DermaDoctor Kakadu C Serum
  • Too Faced Hangover Rx
  • Dr. Brandt No More Baggage Eye Cream
  • First Aid Beauty Cleanser
  • Perricone MD Cold Plasma Collection

But there are new items as well and too many to list, though here are a few:

  • IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Foundation
  • Dose of Colors Matte Liquid Lipstick
  • two shades of MAC lipstick
  • Kylie Cosmetics Matte & Velvet Lip Kits
  • Origins Trial/Travel Kit
  • Peach & Lily Glass Face Serum
  • and there are several palettes: Too Faced Natural Face and Eye Palettes, Too Faced Tutti Fruitti Palettes, Tarte Tartelette 2 Bloom Clay Eyeshadow Palette, and all Lime Crime Hi-Light Palettes.

This year or for the fall season, there seem to be some new features in addition to the shipping alternatives. There are some Diamond/Platinum Member Exclusives, e.g. MAC Ruby Woo lipstick on Sept. 5 and Tarte Shape Tape Contour Concealer on Sept. 21. There are half off “Women founded brands” like Vamp Stamp, Grande Cosmetics etc. on Sept. 11 and  “Discovery brands”: VDL, Teami, Fountain of Truth, Tula, Zilch, and Elemis on Sept. 18 that are intriguing to me. In fact, today there’s half off K-beauty brands like IPKN, Too Cool for School, Touch in Sol (I love their foundation that sadly is not on the list), Mamonde (their natural skincare products are so enticing), Erborian and others.

So there’s a lot of stuff to take advantage of. I picked up a few items during the Sephora VIB sale and during the Labor Day sales, so I am pretty well set. While none or few of the catalogue calendar products are calling to me (especially since I already own and love quite a few of them), I am thinking of picking up a spare BlenderCleanser Solid for $8 on Sept. 20. However, I will be checking online to see the Daily Beauty Steals that seem like they are more unusual, e.g. Tuesday’s include Flesh highlighters, Eyeko mascaras, and all Butter London lip products, the K-beauty products and the Discovery brands (the chance to pick up something from Elemis for half price is certainly appealing). In sum, I think it’s worthwhile to go to the website and check out all the additional deals that may not stand out or show up in the catalogue.

What do you think? Will you stock up on staples, try something new, or sit this one out?
