I’m waiting for the doorbell to start ringing with the littlest trick or treaters since it’s 5 o’clock. I used to get over 250 kids coming to the door for Halloween, but so many of the neighborhood kids are in college and beyond now. But kids from other areas of town have discovered our neighborhood and the nearby college kids trick or treat as well, so there should still be a good showing tonight.
That means tomorrow is November 1. How did it get to be November so fast? I was just sitting on the beach, right?
