First of June Fashion Flash with Follow Phyllis

Things are very sad and gloomy for the U.S. right now, and it’s hard to come up with strategies to see our way through these dark days.

Frankly, it’s kind of tough to come up with beauty reviews right now, so I am taking a day off. Also, a website registered in Singapore has stolen a lot of my blog content and published it as their own on their bogus site.

Nevertheless, one of our newer members, Phyllis Lerner of Follow Phyllis, a fitness and lifestyle blog for baby boomers, is hosting Fashion Flash this week.

It’s her first time as host, so I hope you’ll click over to Follow Phyllis and check out Fashion Flash as well as the other wonderful content on her blog.

On Fashion Flash this week, here’s what to expect:

  • 4 everyday mistakes that could be hurting your health
  • the self-warming eye mask that I reviewed last week and that now is sold at CVS!
  • how to wear athleisure and look great
  • the signs of skin cancer and tips for staying safe in the sun
  • how your color choices can make you look more youthful
  • subscribe to the Menopause Cheat Sheet and find out about all things to help you navigate menopause
  • a hair brush that will change your hair for the better
  • Q&A to help motivate you to exercise
  • a review of a great summer read!

So that’s it for today. Hope you’re hanging in there and doing OK. Stay safe and stay well xoxo

Waving Hi to everyone. Things here are horrible. Living one block for our local mall is not a good thing right now. Our mall has a Target! Looters came in to our city and did major damage to so many of our stores and businesses. We now have the National Guard protecting us. Our businesses have a 1:00 pm curfew and we have a 4:00 pm curfew. It’s been so scary. Prayers for everyone please stay safe. 😷🙏🏻😢

    1. Thank you, DiEtta, for letting us know what’s going on in your corner of the world. These are dark times, indeed. The looters are doing a terrible disservice to the memory of George Floyd and to the peaceful protests going on in his name. I hope you can stay home and stay out of the fray. Take care!
