When my college friend Cindy visited me a few weeks ago, I was instantly taken by the eyeliner pencil she was using to line her hazel eyes. Cindy has honey brown curly, curly almost angelic hair and a warm skin tone with slightly olive undertones. She doesn’t wear a lot of makeup, but the eyeliner she was wearing along with a coat of mascara enhanced her eyes so well.
I immediately asked her what she was wearing. Urban Decay 24/7 Eye Pencil in Stash.
Stash is an olive green shade with gold flecks, a bronze metallic. The gold flecks in the liner absolutely made her hazel eyes sparkle, and the gold went so well with the gold highlights in her hair. Total win.
I thought even though I’m cool-toned and have blue-grey eyes, I needed to try it. Sometimes because of my red hair, I can make warm tones including olive green and golds work. I ordered it during the Ulta coupon event.

I’m glad I bought it, and I enjoy using it because it’s a good change from black and brown, but truth be told, it doesn’t look as good on me with my blue eyes and cool toned skin as it did on Cindy. I think it would look great on my friend, Miriam, who has similar coloring and curls as Cindy. I need to recommend it to her next time I see her.
So if you have honey colored or medium brown hair with gold highlights and/or hazel, green or light brown eyes, definitely check out Urban Decay 24/7 Eye Pencil in Stash. I think you’ll find it suits you.
Hazel eyes, red hair, gold highlights here. This colour is, hands down, my fave liner colour ever. I’m currently finishing up an old discontinued essence pencil in the same shade (don’t remember colour name, and it’s long worn off the barrel) but when that’s gone the UD is already waiting on my wish list. I really don’t bother with eye liner all that often, but when I do it’s this shade. 😃

Do you ever wear bronze, Shireen? In spite of your dark eyes, I think of you as porcelain-skinned and cool toned. Not sure that I would have immediately thought of this shade for your coloring, but it could be very interesting. What do you think?
I’m not sure, this is definitely a shade that I need to swatch first before buying because it can go either way; looks good or just doesn’t do anything for me.

This color is a lovely contrast for your eyes/ skin tone. For me, it’d be a wash, I tend to favor cooler tones since I am a warm.

I will continue to play with it, Norah. I was expecting it to look different on me than it does. It is so flattering on my friend with the hazel eyes, honey colored hair and more olive skin.

This honestly is a beautiful color. It comes in perfect for the transition from summer to fall.
I am honestly loving this color. I have a few shades similar from different brands that I tend to get a lot of use out of during the Fall because I use it on my lower lash line for a pop of color.

Today, I paired the UD pencil Stash with a bronze shadow from Marc Jacobs, and it’s terrific. The bronze pencil is so nice on the lower lash line. I’ll bet it looks great with your eyes and hair too!
I have brown eyes but I think olive greens are just a universally flattering color; this is a beautiful color!
