Friday Find: Art Naturals Lush Advanced Eyelash and Brow Enhancer

Today, I’m bringing back the Friday Find, a brief post about a product I think you need to know about.

As I’ve mentioned before, my eyelashes and brows became sparser over the years, and I realized I needed to do something about it. I’ve tried castor oil, and I had good results from it though the castor oil itself is just that: an oil, a thick and goopy oil. So when I have had opportunities to try actual lash serums that were developed specifically to enhance eyelashes and brows, I decided that even though I have extremely dry and sensitive eyes, I needed to try them.

A couple of months ago, I wrote about the good results that I got from Wink, the first lash serum I tried. Check out my Wink review here.

Recently, I received another brand of lash serum to try, Art Naturals Lush Advanced Lash and Brow Enhancer. This lash enhancer was very different from either the castor oil or Wink, but I have had excellent results using it.

Let’s get into it. First, it comes in a small glass tube-bottle with an applicator with a tiny brush at the end. Oddly, the glass tube has no branding on it, and I think that’s a mistake. Who saves the box? I wanted to write my review, and I realized I couldn’t find the box. And I couldn’t remember the brand name. Fortunately, I took a couple of photos of the box when I first received it so I was able to retrieve the brand name. But in real life, if I wanted to repurchase it, I’d be out of luck. Art Naturals, put the name on the bottle!

Second, as I mentioned above, it was different from the other lash products I used previously. It is very thin and much more like water than oil. You apply it with a thin brush along the root of the lashes and on your brows.

My eyes have been giving me problems lately (they sting because they’re dry). The first couple of times I used it, my eyes stung. But since then, it’s fine. I’m pretty sure it was my finicky eyes because I’ve been using it for about three weeks, and it doesn’t bother my eyes at all. The packaging says that the product has been tested to make sure it is gentle to eyes.

Third, when I read the box when I first got it, it said that I would see results in two weeks. The box was right. ArtNaturals Lush Advanced Lash & Brow Enhancer definitely worked for me.  My lashes are longer than they were when I started using this brand. I also have more lashes at the inner and outer corners where my lashes had been the sparsest. I’m impressed.

Here’s a photo. I’m wearing mascara because my lashes are blond and you wouldn’t be able to see them.

Fourth, because this is a water (more like an essence than a serum), it seems to be lasting quite well. I expect to get at least 2 months use out of it.

Art Naturals Lash & Brow Enhancer is made with natural ingredients including Swiss Apple Stem Cells. The bottle contains 0.1 fl. oz. and is priced at $30. Cruelty-free. Art Naturals makes a full line of skincare, hair care, bath and body products and oils. In fact, I’m testing out their retinol serum now. Check out the Art Naturals website for more info.

For the holidays, there is a 20% off sale site wide for another week with the discount code DECEMBER20

  1. Is this the secret lash serum that you said worked well for you, Allison? I just checked their website and they don’t ship outside US however they are available through Amazon.ca but I can’t find this lash serum listed on Amazon. 🙁

    1. Both the Art Naturals and the Wink lash serums worked well for me, Shireen! But if the one you’re using is working for you, stick with it! I just looked at the U.S. Amazon and the Art Naturals lash serum is listed there for a much lower price. Sorry it’s not on the Canadian Amazon. 🙁

      1. The blogger in me is curious to try this! LOL!

    1. It definitely worked for me. So shocked that it showed results so quickly, wow!

  3. DiEtta says:

Allison….You mentioned that you used castor oil on your eyelashes and eyebrows and had some good results. Could you tell us what you used, how you used it, how often etc. I love the idea of using natural products with no additives. Thanks so much. ??❤️

    1. I bought a bottle of castor oil at Whole Foods market in their area that sells makeup, skincare and health products. I believe it cost about $7 and it’s very big and will last me for years. I apply it with a Qtip along the roots of my lashes and on the lashes themselves to soften them. Castor oil is very thick and a little goes a long way. I have definitely had good results with it. It was something I started doing when I was in college many years ago. I was afraid to try commercial lash serums because of my eye problems, but other than an occasional sting when I use Art Naturals, I like the commercial ones because they’re easier to use. But I still think castor oil and a Qtip can do the job! Here’s the link to my post: https://www.neversaydiebeauty.com/productspotlight/beauty-tip-castor-oil-for-longer-softer-fuller-lashes/ From the photos in that original post, my lashes look just as long as they do now so castor oil is a more affordable option!

Thanks Allison. I am going to try this. So easy and one can spend money on this and not break the bank. I have some little bottles with a roller on top, going to use one of those to put the oil in, to use for my eyebrows. I have a little eyebrow spiral brush I will use it for my eyelashes. Going to try this on my fingernails too. Thanks so much for the link too. I Enjoyed reading everyone’s tips. ??❤️

        1. The application solutions that you developed, DiEtta, sound like such great ideas! Let me know how it works on your nails! I haven’t tried that. I’m still taking biotin and it really works for me. I buy Natrol biotin at Costco and it’s inexpensive and delicious (chewable). Makes my nails and hair grow so fast (10K units)

  4. Wow, only two weeks?! That’s very, very impressive!

    1. I thought so too!

  5. I’ve tried a lot of serums and 2 weeks to see a difference is amazing. I trade off with Wink since that one is so moisturizing – 5 days lash serum, 2 days Wink though I use Wink at least 4x a week on my brows.

    1. That’s interesting to know, Marcia. I have never used any of the prescription lash serums because I was concerned about the possible side effects. I’ve been lucky that Art Natural, Wink and even plain old castor oil have made a huge difference for both my lashes and brows, so I can stick with these natural treatments.

  6. It’s good to know there are affordable options.

    1. Definitely. And there are no side effects like there can be with Rx lash serums.

  7. I am honestly too scared to try lash serums. I am happy it worked for you.

    1. I was too, Kim, but I realized that it was worth it to try. However, you can use castor oil from Whole Foods or health food store and it works well.

  8. Your lashes look great.

  9. My brows have become so sparse, especially after kids. Idk if it was the hormones, but there isn’t much of them left now. ABH used to sell a brow growth serum, and they stopped. Other than them, I had never seen a brand release one. Interesting to see this!

    1. Actually, you can use any lash serum on your brows. Or castor oil 🙂

  10. Definitely going to try at least one of these. I currently have “holes” in my brows and I hate it! I needed this review, thx 🙂

    1. If you want to try the castor oil (it’s the goopiest), I have a ton so stop by with a little jar! Art Naturals and Wink are both easy to apply because they come with applicators. Read both reviews 🙂

  11. I have never used these on my lashes but always on my brows instead. I don’t know, I am always too nervous. I do love hearing about these kinds of rests, though!

    1. I was too worried to try them for a long time, but I realized that there’s a big difference between these natural lash serums and the prescription lash serums that can have side effects. I started out with castor oil that I bought at Whole Foods, and since then, I’ve tried two different OTC lash serums and all three have worked with no problems.

  12. Wow, this sounds pretty interesting. I love that you saw results so quickly.

    1. My lashes have responded really well to all three OTC treatments I’ve tried so far. Gotten remember to use it more often on my brows too coz they look better when I use it consistently too!

  13. Two weeks is an impressive timeline. I’m intrigued and I need to check this out.

    1. Yes, I’m pleased with the results. I’ve gotta remember to use it on my brows. I always remember my lashes but sometimes forget about my brows and they need it too!
