My newest acquisition was a very affordable, handmade bracelet made from glass beads, faceted crystals and wire.
It was made by Miriam Zet, a craftswoman from Guatemala, and sold by the online retailer NOVICA. I think it cost a little more than $10. It arrived in a pretty red striped cloth drawstring bag
with a little booklet with information about the bracelet and the maker.
I think that my bracelet is sold out, but here’s a link to Miriam Zet’s bracelets on NOVICA. There were quite a few different styles and colors, all less than $20.
It took about a week to arrive from Central America via FEDEX which was amazing to me, especially since the shipping was free. As of today (Sunday), the NOVICA site says that orders will arrive by December 24 in case you need a last minute gift or stocking stuffer.
