I’ve been waiting to start my next giveaway with a facial serum that I have been enjoying for about the last 6 weeks. Age Reversal Bratoxin Clinically-Dosed Natural Myorelaxant Serum from BRZLNSKIN (brazilianskin.com).
I love face serums, and I am always game to try a new one. In December, I received a sample packet of Bratoxin, and I liked it so much that the company, BRZLNSKIN, was generous enough to send me two full bottles. Because one dosed pump of the serum covers my entire face, it has been lasting me a long time. So I am going to give away the second bottle rather than (horde) save it for myself. 😉
The company name, BRZLNSKIN, is so named because it uses ingredients that are sourced from the Brazilian Rainforest. The product name, Bratoxin, comes from Brazil, the source of some of the ingredients, and the product concept that this non-prescription product may produce results that are similar to Botox.
Here is how BRZLNSKIN describes the key ingredients and their benefits:
- Acmella Olracea or “Jambu” (pronounced Jamboo) as they call it in the Amazon, is cultivated in Brazil in the State of Para. Found in the AmazonRainforest and has been found to have very similar short-lived effects as Botox.
- Açai Stem Cells It’s no secret that the stem cell trend is here to stay. Research shows that plant stem cells slow down the aging of the skin by defending against extrinsic stress. This plant-derived stem cell ingredient imparts antioxidant, protectant and powerful anti-aging benefits that create an everlasting appearance.
- Camu Camu Native to the Amazon region, Camu Camu berries contain about 30 times the amount of Vitamin C found in oranges. They are rich in ellagic acid, an antioxidant that helps protect the skin against free radicals. Much like a superfood for your face, Camu Camu is a key ingredient to Bratoxin.
- Acacia Gum Derived from the Acacia Tree, this unique ingredient provides a super-firming action to the skin. With an instant lifting effect, it improves texture, plumps up fine lines and wrinkles while leaving the skin smooth.
I’m a skeptic. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting Bratoxin to produce the same results as Botox, and frankly, I didn’t want it to. I love to smile and laugh, so I don’t want my facial muscles to be frozen, and I certainly don’t want to give up laughing and smiling. Hey, I earned these laugh lines!
Nevertheless, when I apply Bratoxin, it does give my skin an initial gentle tightening feeling. I have never tried Botox so I don’t know what the real thing feels like. With Bratoxin, the sensation is more like a firming sensation, and after a short while I don’t feel the tightness any longer.
However, Bratoxin offerss several other benefits that I was very interested in for my dry, mature skin. Although not listed above, the number two ingredient in Bratoxin after water in the ingredient list is snail secretion filtrate or snail mucus. I am a big fan of snail mucus. Although it’s a common ingredient in Korean skincare, it actually was discovered in Chile. In the 1980s, Chilean snail breeders noticed after handling their snails how soft and smooth the skin on their hands had becomes. Skin can become more supple and glowy after using snail mucin because it contains the familiar skincare ingredients: glycoproteins, hyaluronic acid, and glycolic acid. In addition to the initial tightness I feel using Bratoxin, my skin feels more hydrated and smoother.
Also, Bratoxin contains Amazonian Camu Camu from berries that are much more potent sources of vitamin C than oranges. I am always trying to continue fading my dark spots, get my glow on as well as get protection from free radicals in the environment with antioxidants like vitamin C and E, both of which are found in this serum.
I try to use Bratoxin twice a day, but I definitely use it during the daytime. As I mentioned, one measured dose full of this translucent white serum from the pump is enough to cover my face. It is aqueous, and it is absorbed in a minute. It has a slight scent that may be from the fact that there is some alcohol in it, though it doesn’t say what type of alcohol because some alcohols are used without issue in skincare products. I have had no issues with it other than the scent that I first thought was witch hazel, but I don’t see witch hazel in the formula. After applying Bratoxin, I sometimes apply other skincare serums or go right to my moisturizer. It doesn’t interfere with subsequent skincare products or foundation at all.
I hadn’t been applying Bratoxin to my crow’s feet because I just assumed I should stay away from my eyes. But in reading more about the product, it seems that Bratoxin can help soften crow’s feet over time, so I am planning to start using it around my eyes. If you wish, you can apply Bratoxin just to problem areas, but I figure I’ll go for the effects of vitamin C, Camu Camu, Jambu etc. all over my face!

This is very interesting. I haven’t heard of some of the main ingredients and like you I’m game to try new products. I had a sample of a snail product before and it was so sticky I had to wash it off with a deep cleanser as micellar water wouldn’t even touch it. It’s good to hear thus isn’t sticky because the benefits are supposed to be very good. I like tgat it can be used around the eyes also. I’d love to give it a try on my now 44 year old skin which hopefully remains a secret for a few more years thanks to ever improving skincare products like this serum. I too love my laugh lines but I could do without the deep forehead wrinkles and it would be nice to soften my crows feet. Overall it just sounds healthy for your skin.
I would absolutely love to win this for myself; however, I am inclined to want to share it with my senior mother who would not ever try such an ‘indulgent’ product but whose mature skin would certainly benefit from these ingredients. Excellent review of this product. I haven’t started using it since I’m testing a different serum but I will start soon. Whoever wins is going to be one lucky lady. I have had Botox for my eyes about 4 years ago and it wasn’t a tight feeling. My skin felt normal and my eye area just looked rejuvenated. I’d like to do it again but I’m not sure if my doctor would approve it.
I wouldn’t say that Bratoxin provides the same benefits as Botox, but it has a definite firming feeling without being uncomfortable. I love it because it has so many different skincare benefits, and it plays so nicely with other skincare products and foundation. Marcia, have you written about your experiences with Botox? Snail mucous sounds like an interesting ingredient. Like you, I would be nervous to try Botox because I wouldn’t want my face to look frozen or weird!
I know a couple of women who have tried Botox, and they looked normal, but it’s quick expensive and I am concerned that I would be that one person who would have a bad reaction!

At the age of 60 I have held off on the Botox and fillers. I am trying other things, like Frownies for the “11” between my eyes, but would love to try a cream to see the result.
