I’ve written a review of derma e Evenly Radiant Dark Circle Eye Cream several months ago, and I hosted a giveaway of the derma e Purifying Charcoal Gel Mask too.
derma e was started in 1984 as an alternative to the kinds of skincare products that were available back then. My skin is oily and I’m late 40s and so hoped breakouts would be a part of my past by now. But no such luck. I have been trying a cpl different things to get it clear and stay. But not a lot of luck. So I would love to try and see if this would be the ticket to my problems. I have samples of their eye cream can’t remember what exactly they call it. But I like it. Think I got in Target Box. I’d love to win this! I have diabetic skin problems, so I’m always looking for new skincare products.
If you have combo or oily skin, Tamra, this is a fabulous skincare line. I have read about diabetic skincare problems in the past, but I regret to say I don’t remember the details. For some reason, I was thinking that diabetic skin issues were dry skin – maybe I’m wrong about that. At any rate, thank you for entering the giveaway and good luck!
Dry patches are a big problem with diabetes. (They pop up anywhere!) My face tends to be oily on the forehead & chin area, and the occasional dry patch (usually in the cheek area.)

As a market researcher, I have conducted a number of studies with diabetics, and I remember them telling me about problems especially with skin on their feet. I’m sorry to hear that dry patches can show up anywhere. It sounds like the Purifying product line from derma e would still be a good fit since they recommend it for combination skin. True, Julie. This is the second box of Purifying products I’ve received from derma e, but I have dry skin so I haven’t used them! I’m hoping one of these days they’ll send me skincare suited to my skin type. But I hear they’re launching new packaging so they must want to move this existing product. I got a sample of the scrub and the mask in a beauty box; haven’t broken them out yet because of the queue. They sound great – I’ve eradicated petroleum products from my skincare and the results have been worth it.

I would love to win this because lately my skin has been very oily and I have been breaking out. I am not sure if I need to change my diet but I have not experienced more than one blemish on my face before so I need a good charcoal mask to help with this.

First off, I wanted to thank you for putting together an amazing giveaway. And then, I would like to say that I’ve heard so many good things about this brand that really intrigued me. Recently I’ve been getting really bad break outs and its been noticed by so many people around me, so much so that its starting to get annoying. I don’t really use much products on my skin because I’m afraid it’ll just ruin my face. Gee, Loraine, I’m not sure what these smell like because I haven’t tried them since I have such dry skin and these are for combination or oily skin. I have been looking at these products for some time now and just haven’t purchased them. I was going to purchase the charcoal mask one time and it was sold out. Therefore it would be great to be able to finally try these. I’ve read good reviews on them.

Thank you 🙂 Yeah I used a acne treatment and my face got so swollen like a balloon and was red/blotchy/painful. I had to go to the dermatologist and he said I had an allergic reaction to the sulfates in it. So I avoid them. Only thing I am aware of that I am allergic to. My skin can be dry and when your close to 60 you see it change from when you were younger now I need all the help I can to keep it in great shape. These products sound amazing to use love to try them.
Laura, if your skin is dry and you are close to 60, these are not the right skincare products for you. They’re for oily skin or at most combination skin, meaning some parts normal and some parts oil. If your skin is dry, these products will dry it out even more.
