Yesterday at the beach, I was saying to my friends and cousins how happy I was that it was summer. Mid-July is probably my favorite time of year. I wish time would slow down because I know it’ll be wintery and dark before I know it. In the summer, I spend as much time outdoors as I can because I’m stuck in the house so much in the winter.
To protect my face while I’m outdoors in the summer, I have two daytime favorites, both from Reviva Labs:

Oh gosh, what an amazing giveaway, Allison! Recently I added a Vitamin C serum and rosehip oil and I swear I saw amazing results within 3 days. I would like to ask you though, do you use facial oils? And if you do, do you use it as the last step after moisturizer to lock everything in or right after toner?

I use facial oils (I’m using the Oils of Heaven Cacay Oil now but I have yet another oil from a different brand to start trying out) after toner and after an essence if I’m using one. Rather than to lock in moisturizer, I’d rather let it absorb completely before applying other products. Just my routine 😉

I was diagnosed with diabetes about 8 years ago & that’s when I discovered a symptom of diabetes that not a lot of people know about: skin issues! My previously oily skin has become very dry. I get odd dry patches. I’m always looking for new, good products. I’ve heard great things about Reviva but never tried it.

I’d like to win because I already have a number of dark spots from the sun (and tanning beds when I was young and stupid) & I know Vitamin C is supposed to be good for fading those and I would like to try out the Moisturizer to help protect from any further sun damage.

Summer should sloooooooow down right away! I’ve been really happy with this lightweight moisturizer with spf. Although I sometimes will use a separate moisturizer with a separate sunscreen, this is so much easier.

Vitamin C is a must-have for anyone. I’ve been using a 20% Vitamin C serum to get over some post-infection spots and it has worked wonders!

I have yet to find my HG Vitamin C serum. The serum I’m using now doesn’t seem to have any noticeable affect on my skin, except maybe causing the occasional bit of extra irritation. The Reviva Labs Vitamin C serum sounds amazing, as does the moisturizer. I would love to try them!

I was just thinking the same thing while driving home the other night from the grocery store. It was nearly 8PM and still sunny, that’s what I miss most in the fall! Though, when I lived up north the fall was my favorite time, because it’s so pretty!
