Giveaway: Bvlgari Omnia Crystalline Eau de Toilette Purse-Size Spray

I am a subscriber to Scentbird. Back in March, I reviewed Scentbird, the subscription service that sends a different 30 day supply of fragrance in a distinctive glass purse-size spray tube every month for $14.95. The 30 day supply is great because it’s enough for me or for anyone I would think to decide if a scent is right for them.

Scentbird has a quiz that you can take about your preferences with regard to scent and it makes suggestions for fragrances for you to consider trying. I’ve discovered some great perfumes since I’ve become a subscriber.

You can even suspend your subscription for a month or two if you’re having a hard time deciding, or if you need to get caught up on all your perfumes, lol. If you think you’d like to subscribe, I’d be happy if you’d use my referral code: http://www.shareasale.com/u.cfm?d=255480&m=55102&u=1078265 or go through the ad in the right sidebar on the NSDB homepage.

Last week, I received a purse-size spray of Bvlgari Omnia Crystalline eau de toilette by mistake, and Scentbird generously let me keep it. It is a lovely scent but not the type of fragrance that I wear, (I’m a spicy heavy oriental scent wearer), so I thought I’d host a quickie giveaway. That way, it will find a good home.

Bvlgari Omni Crystalline EDT from Scentbird Perfume neversaydiebeauty.com @redAllison

As you may know, Bvlgari is a century-old Italian luxury jeweler and maker of fine watches and other luxury goods. Bvlgari created a collection of perfumes inspired by gem stones. This is how Sephora describes the scent: “Capturing the glowing clarity of crystal light, Omnia Crystalline illuminates, reflects, and reveals a woman’s unique radiance, her femininity, her beauty – the inexpressible, irresistible lightness of her being.”

And here’s a description from Fragrantica.com: “Omnia Crystalline is inspired by the perfection of crystal. It is delicate and gentle like the touch of flower petals. This sparkling Eau de Toilette captures the essence of frosted flowers. The top notes bring airy bamboo and exotic Asian fruit Nashi that has a very original and specific fresh aroma, similar to both apple and pear. The heart is ruled by soft and feminine notes of lotus blossom, while the base brings elegant woodsy notes. The fragrance was created by Alberto Morillas in 2005.”

Notes: Bamboo, Nashi, Lotus Flower, Balsa Wood.
Style: Airy. Radiant. Feminine.

Airy is also a good description. It is not sweet. It’s a sophisticated, sexy scent. It is described by those who wear it as “a fresh, clean scent” appropriate for all times of day or night.

  7. Erin Ellis says:

I would love to win because I love Bvlgari, and this sounds like the perfect scent for me. Thank you for the wonderful giveaway.
    Erin

    1. You’re welcome, Erin, and I’m glad you entered. I myself have never tried any scents or anything actually from Bvlgari, but I’ve heard such great things about this luxury brand. I’m glad you’re a fan! Good luck in the giveaway 🙂

  8. I love perfume and wear it every day. Bulgari is new to me and I enjoy a strong scent which is why I want to try this Scentbird product.

    1. I haven’t tried any scents from Bvlgari either, Mary. I took a tiny sniff of the scent, and I would describe it as strong, also sexy and sophisticated, but other devoted wearers call it “airy” or “fresh and clean”. So I guess the description is in the nose of the wearer, lol. Thank you for entering and good luck 🙂

  9. Ooooh. I love fresh, clean scents. I don’t really wear perfume because I’ve yet to find a perfume that I really, really love and can justify spending money on. This one seems like a contender, though!

  10. Michelle Castagne says:

The description of the scent sounds like what I would like. Right now I’m into the fresh clean scents.

    1. I believe this is a fresh, clean scent, Michelle, so that’s why I am gifting it on to a good home since I’m a spice lover. I’m glad you entered, and good luck 🙂

  11. I like what I have from the brand especially the one I bought for Brian. I cannot recall offhand the name but he gets compliments from women when he wears it. I have not sampled this one though. I like strong fragrances overall so this one interests me.

    1. That’s great, Laura, that you got a Bvlgari scent for Brian, but the compliments from women — I don’t know! Is that a good thing? lol I took just the tiniest sniff and it seems strong to me, but then some devoted fans of the fragrance describe it as airy so who knows? I’d say sexy and sophisticated. But I’m glad you entered! Good luck 🙂

  12. This scent sounds amazing! I have the Bvlgari Jasmin Noir, and I really like it! 🙂

Renu recently posted…Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipsticks Review, Swatches: Bond Girl, Walk of ShameMy Profile

    1. Like any fragrance, it depends on your body chemistry. I took the faintest sniff of this since I knew I’d be giving it away, and I know it wouldn’t mesh with my chemistry. I need those spicy scents.

  15. Diana D. says:

I think Bvlgari makes some of the most beautiful fragrances. I love their Jasmin Noir. This one that you have in the giveaway sounds so wispy and delicate. I would love to win it!

    1. Glad you entered, Diana! I think it has more of a presence, actually, though some of the devoted wearers describe it as airy and summery. You will have to make up your mind if you win 😉 Thank you for entering and good luck 🙂

  16. What a cool service? I must be under a rock, because I’m not familiar with it. But,I have tried Omnia Crystalline and it’s a gorgeous scent 😉

    1. It was their error, Julie, so I guess they figured they would have to provide the return shipping and it wasn’t worth it. So I was happy and I hope someone who enters the giveaway will be happy when they get it. For a fragrance lover, Scentbird really is a fantastic service. It’s a great way to get recommendations based on your/my preferences and try a decent size sample for not a lot of money. I’m loving it!

Kristina Vieweg recently posted…derma|e Gluten Free Skincare! #ICantWheatMy Profile

    1. That’s why I’m giving it away, Kristina, because I know even without trying it that it won’t work with my body chemistry. Hopefully, it will find a good home!

  27. Although everyone’s chemistry is different and so I believe no perfume smells exactly the same on any 2 ppl, I think this sounds wonderful!! What a great way to try a fragrance I wouldn’t normally be able to afford to try.

    1. Yes, Robin, that’s why I’m giving this away. I would hate to see it languishing in my bedroom because I know it wouldn’t suit me. I have a certain type of scent that works and I don’t stray too far from it. But this seems lovely. I’m so glad you entered. Good luck 🙂
