Last week, Paula’s Choice sent me two of their iconic skincare products in a box with the title: Skincare Myths Busted. How intriguing! It certainly got my attention. And though Paula is no longer the owner of Paula’s Choice, it’s good that the company that bought the brand is continuing to reinforce her longtime mission and tagline: #BeautyBeginsWithTruth.
The two skincare products are:
Each of the products is related to one of the myths. Here we go:
I. Myth: Scrubs are effective exfoliants
Truth: Scrubs buff the very surface of skin, but they can’t remove built-up layers of dead skin cells the way a leave-on chemical exfoliant can. For serious glow and anti-aging, go for AHA or BHA instead.
Solution: Our cult-favorite 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant unclogs pores, smooths wrinkles and evens out skin tone.
How to Use: Apply it with a cotton pad after cleansing and toning to your face and neck. Do not rinse. Follow with the rest of your skincare routine. If you apply it during the day, always wear SPF 30 or more. Start out slowly with the product if you haven’t used it before, applying it every other day. Once your skin has adjusted, you can use it up to twice a day.
More Info: A unique leave-on formula that’s gentle enough for daily use on all skin types. Exfoliates dead skin cells while clearing pores for a more even, radiant tone, plus visibly reduces fine lines and wrinkles to reveal remarkably smoother, younger-looking skin. This exfoliant has an optimal pH range of 3.2–3.8.

Key Ingredients: Salicylic acid and Green Tea
Ingredients: Water (Aqua), Methylpropanediol (hydration), Butylene Glycol (hydration), Salicylic Acid (beta hydroxy acid/exfoliant), Polysorbate 20 (stabilizer), Camellia Oleifera Leaf Extract (green tea/skin calming/antioxidant), Sodium Hydroxide (pH balancer), Tetrasodium EDTA (stabilizer).
II. Myth: Vitamin C isn’t compatible with other actives
Truth: Modern day vitamin C is stabilized in a way that alleviates the risk of inactivating other ingredients. In fact, studies have shown that vitamin C can boost the benefits of other actives like niacinamide, retinol, AHA and BHA.
Solution: Our C15 Super Booster easily layers with or mixes into serums and moisturizers to brighten uneven tone and visibly improve signs of aging.
How to Apply: Drop 2-3 drops into the palm of your hand and press onto your face. Or mix into your moisturizer and apply. During the day, wear with SPF 30+.
More Info: C15 Super Booster contains a highly concentrated form of vitamin C and an assortment of skin-stabilizing antioxidants and skin-replenishing ingredients. Combined, they provide exceptional results including improving the appearance of uneven skin tone, brightening a dull complexion, and helping skin ward off the impact of environmental assaults.

I want to win the C15 Booster. My skin is dull and drab and I am hoping the booster will breath some life back into it and make it look healthier
I’d like to try both products because my skin is dry and in need of some love! I wanna love my skin more by investing in product and putting good stuff into and on my body. This includes testing out products that I’ve been recommended. A couple weeks ago, my friend recommended the PC chemical exfoliant to me when I told her I usually a physical one from Ole Henriksen that’s rougher. A few days later, I got my first facial EVER! and the esthetician also recommended the same two PC you are giving away. I would love to begin this journey with Paula’s Choice and see what can happen for me.
Paula’s Choice is one of my favorite skin care brands. I actually get the exfoliator as part of my monthly subscription. I have tried the booster previously and LOVE it. If I win the booster is what I would choose as I do not currently have it in my routine.
Oh, your Twitter Follow link was broken when I tried it. I had to remove the rafflecopter error link from the bar and navigate to the twitter part of it manually. I don’t know if it was my browser or a rafflecopter issues, but wanted to give you a heads up.

Thank you, Cassie, for entering my giveaway and for letting me know about the broken link. I just figured out what was wrong and I fixed it. You are the best!
C15 Booster, please!!! I still have some of the salicylic acid toner you gave me and I love it, so I’d take either, but the serum interests me more. Thank you!
So glad you entered, Kim!! thank you. I have this C serum, and it’s a good one 🙂
C15 my skin needs all the help it could get.
So hard to choose which I’d prefer as each has a specific function and both are incredible for the skin! But if forced to choose, I’d say the 2% BHA Liquid because it just does such a phenomenal job at exfoliating deep within the pores.
I agree, Diana, it’s a hard choice because both Paula’s Choice products are fab. Thanks for entering, and good luck!
I’d choose the 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant because it seems so easy to use. I still get occasional breakouts & this seems like a great way to keep my pores clean!
The 2% BHA is probably Paula’s Choice best-selling product in their entire line up. Good choice. Thanks for entering, Kim, and good luck!
I want to try the Super C Booster; because I’m not currently using anything like it. And I want to see if it helps (even a little with anti-aging) on my face.
I’m using the C15 Super Booster now, Sandy. It’s a really nice, lightweight, non-oily serum and the ferulic acid in the formula doesn’t smell bad like the Skinceuticals version. So far, I love it. Thank you for entering, and good luck!
What a great giveaway. PC continues to be one of the premier and most trusted skincare brands available.
You’re right, Paula’s Choice is still a terrific, trusted brand. I have a number of their products that are still must-haves for me
Thank you, Marccia.
Honestly I would love to try both of the products. I love the multipurpose 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant to help with my uneven skin tone and unclog my pores and the C15 Super Booster to brighten my aging skin.
Glad you’d be happy with either, Jen. Thanks for entering, and good luck!
Paula’s Choice makes such great products that are solid performers. What a wonderful giveaway!

I want to try the C15! I’ve tried CE Ferulic and I want to see how much better this one is.
To me, the Skinceuticals version smelled bad because of the ferulic acid. This one from Paula’s Choice doesn’t at all, yay!
That sounds like a distinct improvement. Now I REALLY want to try it!
I would like both but probably most interested in the BHA.
Thanks for entering, Tabitha, and good luck!
I have never tried either of these products but if I had to pick – Paula’s Choice 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant
I would really like to try both
Thanks for entering, Gloria, and good luck!
What a great giveaway! Thanks for busting some of these skincare myths.
They both sound great but I would like to try Paula’s Choice 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant first.
You can’t lose, Jessica! Thanks for entering and good luck!
They both sound great but for me I would choose the C 15 Super Booster. I would be great to see if it can help even out my skin tone and hopefully lighten age spots.
Great choice, Sharon! The PC C15 Booster is part of my daytime routine, and I love it. Thanks for entering, and good luck!
I had no idea that Paula’s Choice went viral on TikTok! But it makes sense, since their products are so good.

They both sound fantastic but I would love to try the C15 Super Booster the most. I love that you can add to moisturizers you already use.
I’ve been using the Paula’s Choice C15 Booster everyday for several weeks now. Highly recommend it! Thanks for entering, Melissa, and good luck!
I love Paula’s Choice, it would be hard to choose.
I’m torn! I’m leaning towards the C15 Booster because my skin is on the drier side and I’d like to see if it will help with uneven skin tone. Thanks for the awesome giveaway!
I’d love to be considered for the 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant because I don’t have an Exfoliant in my everyday life to use so I would love to try this one since it says it evens out skin tones and I could use a good product to try.
The C15 booster sounds great!!
The C15 Super Booster Sounds Amazing
That booster is calling my name!!! I so want to try it!!
I’m already a fan and user of PC’s exfoliant. I haven’t tried C15 Booster yet so that’s my choice. I haven’t decided on a new Vitamin C to try next and you can’t go wrong wit PC, can you!
These both sound wonderful so that is a tough choice. My skin certainly could use some brightening so I will say C15 Super Booster.
I would LOVE to try that C15 booster! My skin definitely needs that brightening and healthy boost.
I would definitely like both products: Paula’s Choice 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant
and Paula’s Choice C15 Super Booster to even out my skin tone, while unclogging my pores and to reveal a more radiant complexion, as well.
Those both sounds like great products, I can see why they are so popular. I would also really love to try the Weightless Body Treatment 2% BHA. I am having these strange issue with these tiny bumps on my legs and I think this could help. Also, I am really intrigued about the Radiance Renewal Mask. This has awesome reviews and I love that it should brighten the skin and leave it with a glowy, hydrated look. I definitely could use the pick-me-up!
