Glamglow ThirstyMud Hydrating Treatment

A few months ago, I picked up a travel size jar of Glamglow ThirstyMud Hydrating Treatment as an “Add-on” for $3 from the Ipsy store. Years ago, I bought a cool-looking silver peel-off mask that was so much fun to use, I thought I would try the ThirstyMud Hydrating mask.

My and Other User Experiences

First, Glamglow ThirstyMud Hydrating Treatment has the most delectable scent. It’s a tropical coconut scent that is to die for. I smell it mostly when I open the jar and first apply the treatment. Then, the fragrance fades, and I don’t smell it on my skin.

Second, Glamglow ThirstyMud is a creamy beige, cooling gel-cream that is completely non-oily. It is truly ultra-hydrating; it soothes and quenches dry and dehydrated skin. I apply Glamglow ThirstyMud to my face and neck with my fingers, though you could use a brush if you like. The mud has such a nice, rich but lightweight feel that using my fingers works so well. Over a few minutes, the mud dries a bit, though it does not feel at all drying.

The instructions recommend using ThirstyMud Hydrating Treatment 2-3 times per week and leaving it on for 10-20 minutes before wiping the remaining mud off and/or massaging the remainder into the skin. When I read the reviews on the Glamglow ThirstyMud website, I was not surprised to read that the vast majority of consumers used ThirstyMud Hydrating Treatment as a sleeping mask, e.g. a regular nighttime moisturizer. The Hydrating Treatment makes skin feel so terrific that there’s no point in applying another moisturizer on top of it.

After using ThirstyMud Hydrating Treatment, my skin always feels amazingly plumped and deeply hydrated. To me, it is more effective than Clinique’s Moisture Surge by seemingly getting to the root of the dryness. Honestly, I think this is a terrific dry skin treatment!
