The GloMinerals Highlighter in a pale shimmery pink cream is my favorite highlighter. I love its creamy, shimmery, pretty pink goodness. They may have replaced the tube now with a stick illuminator that also sounds great. And who doesn’t love a little shimmer for the holidays?
Speaking of the holidays, I was thrilled when I received GloMinerals Bold Pursuit makeup collection for Holidays 2016.

Eyeshadow Sticks
- toast: burnished antique gold shimmer
- echo: medium brown with a slight bronze shimmer around the edges
Truth be told, I’ve been wearing this duo almost everyday because they are such wearable shades and quick as a bunny to apply. The gold is not a bright yellow gold, but instead the deep burnished antique gold shade has a subtle glow that works well on my mature eyes. It is smooth, buttery and stays nicely on my lid. I wear toast in the crease and/or the outer V. Both shades last without creasing till I remove them at the end of the day. I wear them over primer because I have such dry, red lids.
Precision Eye Pencil
This is one of the best eye pencils I’ve ever used, and I mean it. The peach shade is perfect for my waterline. Sometimes I also use it as an eyeliner to make me look more awake. I adore this pencil!
Liquid Ink Eyeliner
I sometimes have a hard time with liquid eyeliner, but I found that GloMineral’s Liquid Ink eyeliner is relatively easy to apply even for a klutz like me. It has a tiny applicator brush and a nice smooth very very black formula. Good stuff!
Lipstick
The lipstick in the shade Date Night is a gorgeous, creamy cranberry red shade. It’s very lightweight and neither hydrating nor drying. It’s a wow!

I actually prefer liquid liner and I’m loving how black this one looks. It looks like it could make a pretty dramatic black line which is what I look for when doing my evening looks.

I went through a phase where all I wear is eyeshadow sticks but it’s been a long time since I use one. I guess I am more daring and experimental with eyeshadows these days and trying to get better with my blending skills so I use more powder eyeshadows.

That certainly makes sense, Shireen. Powder shadows are definitely easier to blend than sticks and yield more sophisticated results, but you can’t beat a stick for quick application!
I have been looking for a good Peach eye pencil for awhile now. It seems that everyone I have tried is just not creamy enough to glide or the peach is too orangey so I am going to buy myself yet another Christmas gift. LOL! Maybe I should stop reading blogs and such until after Christmas because I have bought me more presents than anyone else. 🙂

They are, Heather! I love to use the gold one as an eyeliner too to add a little shimmer on top of a matte shadow. The sticks are so buttery but they definitely stay put. Love ’em!
