Heart Ful Moisture Lipstick from Holika Holika: Super-cute Heart-Shaped Lipstick

Well, the hearts are back again. I can’t seem to avoid them. Or rather, I seek them out. And the likely place to find the cutest makeup with hearts is, of course, South Korea!

I discovered Heart Ful Moisture Lipstick from the Korean brand, Holika Holika, online, and I couldn’t resist. The lipstick comes in a cute foil covered outer box with hearts at the top (mine got a little squished on its long journey from South Korea to Massachusetts).

The lipstick comes in a pink and metal tube. The tube itself seems a little smaller than the usual tube, but the amount of lipstick seems the same as usual. It’s a good size to tuck in a pocket or an evening bag.

What’s so cool about this lipstick is the shape of the bullet: it’s heart shaped. Too cute, isn’t it?

The lipstick is moisturizing, and it feels good on my dry lips. I chose Sweet Coral.  It looks darker in the bullet in the above photo, so here’s another one in natural daylight in comparison to my orange nails (I’m wearing Nailtini Mai Tai).

It’s actually a lightish peach/coral shade — I seem to be leaning toward peaches this summer. The color is light but buildable.

The only drawback is that it’s not very long-lasting., but most moisturizing lipsticks are not. I get a couple of hours max before I need to re-apply. But that’s OK, I didn’t buy it because it was a long-lasting lipstick but because it was heart-shaped <3

Heartful Moisture Lipstick comes in 6 shades: Sweet Coral, Baby Beige, Candy Red, Pink Love, Kissing Red, and Fresh Orange.

I purchased Heartful Moisture Lipstick on ebay for about $11, but I just saw it on Amazon for $9.50+, and some of the links are below if you want to check them out.

Because the writing on the box is in Korean, I have no idea what the ingredients are. But the website says:  “a high moisture essential oil complex (sweet orange oil, grapefruit oil, olive oil) is included, protecting lips from harsh environment exposure and providing them with full moisture.”

Are you familiar with the Holika Holika brand? What do you think about the Heart Ful lipstick?

  1. How cute! I’m not familiar with Korean brands and not sure if I would purchase if I can’t read the ingredients as I’m trying to purchase make up products with less chemical ingredients these days.

Korean brands like Holika Holika, Etude House, Misccha are actually good quality, and their packaging is super cute. Worth checking out online just to see what they’re like. There is a big Korean food and department store not too far from where I live, and their food products including meat/seafood put ours to shame. Makes sense, however, to try to avoid chemicals (though with the exception of the mineral products, they’re all made with some type of chemical, some benign, some not such much.) I love Bare Minerals and have been using the foundation for years, but I switched to the Ready Makeup and I’m not so in love. I’m eager to read your BM review on the QVC products.
