Hemp Seed Hand Wash for Gentle but Effective Handwashing

I must wash my hands about a billion times a day now. When I go to the mailbox and bring in the mail, I wash my hands afterwards. When I come back from the drug store, I wash my hands. If I go for a socially distanced walk with a friend, I wash my hands. After I work in my yard or gardens, I wash my hands several times. And a bunch of other times a day that I can’t think of right now.

I use bar soap, hand sanitizers or liquid soap depending on where I am. In spite of using hand cream as often as I can, my hands are taking a beating. Enter Hemp Seed Hand Wash.

Hemp Seed Hand Wash is liquid soap with benefits. Usually washing my hands for 20 seconds can seem like a long time, but when I use Hemp Seed Hand Wash I’m not counting the seconds and wishing I was finished.

Hemp Seed Hand Wash, a colorless gel with pumice held in my hand

Hemp Seed Hand Wash is a colorless gel with exfoliating pumice suspended throughout. I always thought of pumice (a stone) as a hard substance. Oddly, the pumice in Hemp Seed Hand Wash feels soft rather than gritty. It’s an absolutely terrific hand wash to use when my hands are really dirty after gardening or when my hands are sticky after cooking or when I’m concerned about possible germs on my hands when I’ve come back from the drugstore.

It lathers up quickly and makes oodles of creamy white lather with soft pumice beads helping to clean my hands exceptionally well. The soap has a light, natural herbal scent with eucalyptus, green tea and orange peel that smells lovely while I’m washing my hands but doesn’t linger afterwards. But those natural ingredients do more than just smell nice:

  • eucalyptus oil and green tea are a natural combination that work together to prevent impurities from clinging to skin
  • orange peel is a natural anti-microbial that also soothes and softens skin.

Importantly, my hands don’t feel desiccated after I finish. In fact, they feel moisturized and smooth. The company’s signature hemp seed oil in the formula makes a huge difference for my hands. I don’t have to go running for the hand cream after I use Hemp Seed Hand Wash. I’m impressed! And I love using it. Although I had intended to do a giveaway with the second bottle of Hemp Seed Hand Wash that I received, I decided I can’t part with it. Sorry!

The translucent brown plastic bottle that Hemp Seed Hand Wash comes in holds 8 fl. oz./237 ml and is priced at $9.99. But if you buy 4 (and you know with all the hand washing that’s going on in every household these days, you’ll need them!), you can save $15 – in other words, 4 bottles cost $24.96, so just over $6 each if you bundle.

  • 100% vegan
  • gluten-free

I noticed on the Hemp Seed Body Care website that they have several bath and body wash scents that sound delectable. I hope to try one of them next, but which one? They come in 12 different scents! This family-owned business that started in a garage in 1996 has grown by leaps and bound. They also make body moisturizers, massage oils, haircare products, and hemp seed oil. Check out the website for more details on the complete product line, to purchase from the website or to find a store near you that carries Hemp Seed Body Care.
