Instant Relaxation for Mother’s Day with Aprilis Bath Bombs

Taking a fragrant, warm bath is so instantly relaxing. Putting on some great music. Maybe lighting a candle. And adding a beautiful, fragrant bath bomb is the frosting on the cake. I love to slip into the pretty colored fizzy water.

So when I think about Mother’s Day, bath and body products are often at the top of my list.

Aprilis Bath Bombs

I was happy to be introduced to Aprilis Bath Bombs. Instead of glittery, girly bath bombs, Aprilis Bath Bombs are feminine and sophisticated. They make a stunning presentation.

They are exquisitely packaged in a lovely, well-made, tastefully decorated aqua box. The minute you remove the top of the box, you can smell the heavenly fragrances. Inside, there are six generously sized bath bombs.

Each one is beautifully wrapped in paper and nestled in paper straw. After removing the paper wrapper, each bath bomb is wrapped tightly in lightweight plastic to protect it from damage.

The scent is identified with a pretty label on the paper wrapper so you can select the bath bomb that suits your mood.

The six scents are:

  • green tea
  • milk
  • osmanthus.

Aprilis Bath Bombs are handmade. They are natural, organic and made from premium ingredients. In fact, they have natural oils and citric acid bubbles to relax your muscles, soothe your skin, increase circulation, and excite your senses. Some have dried flower petals, and all are scented with essential oils. They provide a spa-quality experience in your own bathroom!

What’s It Like To Use Aprilis Bath Bombs?

Here’s a little video I made of my first experience with Aprilis Bath Bombs. The fizzy scene is probably a little too long, but I don’t know how to edit yet!

Of course, I went with rose first. Because the bath bomb is so big (3.88 oz.), it fizzes for a looooong time in the video. The next time, I will get into the tub while it’s fizzing and that will be more fun than watching and videoing it! The rose bath bomb has a wonderful floral scent. Plus it has little, dried rose petals that are released into the tub (and they were easy to wash down the drain afterwards). What delighted me most in addition to the deep pink rose color was the oil that was imparted onto my skin. Not at all greasy, but the right amount that made me feel that I didn’t need to apply more oil or body butter afterwards. A totally wonderful experience.

Tonight, I’m going to use the green tea bomb.

  1. I am not a fan of bath bombs or to be more specific, Lush bath bombs because most contain so much glitter and I hate having to clean the shitz after a relaxing bath. These sounds amazing though!

    1. I feel the same way about LUSH bath bombs, Shireen. I don’t want glitter all over my skin or my bath tub. The Aprilis Bath Bombs are for grownups: the scent is lovely but not overpowering and the little rose petals washed down the drain with one swish. Plus I was thrilled that the bath oil in the bomb was enough to help my dry skin but did not leave a slippery coating on my tub. I’m sold on these.

  2. These look absolutely luscious! They would definitely be perfect Mother’s Day gifts!

  7. These look lovely. I really wish I took bathes more often. I used to do it in my 20s all the time. If I did I would tell my husband this would be a great gift idea for Mother’s Day!

    1. Yes, when I first tried one of the glitter bombs from another brand, I thought it would be cool. But then I realized I had to shower afterwards to remove the glitter from my skin and from the tub. I’ll take flower petals that don’t stick to me anyway!
