Right off the bat, I loved the bag for the Ipsy Plus Stronger Together March subscription. It perfectly illustrates the theme Stronger Together, and it is so very cute! I’d say that it’s the best bag since they switched to the drawstring.
Here’s what I got:
Belle en Argent Panchromatic Eyeshadow Palette, shade Plum Premonition: I am a big fan of Belle en Argent because their silver Art Deco-ish packaging is so beautiful. The shades in this palette are neutral to cool-toned so I think it will suit me, though I haven’t tried it yet. Love it. $30, on sale now for $25
Half Caked Totally Tubular Mascara, The Heights: This was the second item that Ipsy chose for me. I detest tubular mascara. It grosses me out especially when I remove it. I was planning to give it away, but I love the looks of the wand (tapered with plastic teeth). So maybe I will keep my eyes closed when I remove it, and give it a try. $14
Haus Laboratories Sparkle Lipstick, shade Burlesque: Another stunning item in this month’s bag. The Haus lipstick case is ombré smoked metal with a magnetic closure. The lipstick itself is warm red with gold sparkles. Could I love it anymore than I do? I will probably do a review of it at a later date. Also, it claims to be a “one swipe” lipstick. Hmm. Haus Laboratories is Lady Gaga’s brand. $20
Céla Crème de la Crème Decadent Body & Hand Cream: I’m a big fan of Cela’s balm, so I thought I would try the Body & Hand Cream next. It has a sweet caramel-ish scent that is rather strong, so it’s not for those who prefer fragrance-free. It’s rich cream that comes out of a tube. It dries matte. $30
Eyeko Rock Out & Lash Out Mascara, shade Beatnik Black: Even though I am not necessarily a fan of the hourglass shaped wand, I wanted to try Eyeko mascara because I am a fan of the Eyeko liquid eyeliners. I haven’t had a chance to try it yet, so I will report back another time. $26
This month’s total is $120. Although this was not one of the most expensive bags I’ve gotten, I am quite satisfied with it. Only one product, I won’t use. And the rest of them, I think I will like very much.
I chose an add-on product, a deluxe sample for $3: Maēlle Beauty Clearly Brilliant Tinted Lips, shade Berry: I love lip crayons for everyday. And this one is perfect for me to wear around the house, yard etc. I’ve been dying for a pink lipstick. The shade is pink rose, and I think it’s wonderful for spring.
It is hydrating, but the hydration isn’t very long-lasting yet it leaves behind color. Reapplying after a couple of hours restores the hydration. I don’t mind that. It was well worth the price I paid! The full size tube of Maelle Beauty Tinted Lips is priced at $9, and it comes in 6 shades.
So the March 2021 Ipsy Plus bag and its items were a success for me. Yay!

Great selection of items. Even though I don’t wear red lips I know I’d be excited to see Haus in my bag. The Eyeko mascara is a good one. I liked it when I wore it. I hated to toss it since it was obvious there was so much more mascara in it but time came first.

I am SO glad your bag was better than mine. They sent me a moisturizer for oily skin. Their choice, not mine. I do like the Kosas Tinted Face Oil and the Goldfaden Serum, but everything else was “meh” in the extreme.
I can’t believe Ipsy sent you a moisturizer for oily skin. What were they thinking? Why do we even bother filling out their survey if they don’t use it? What is the Tinted Face Oil like? I have never tried one. Goldfaden is almost always a winner. I hope April is better for you!!
The Tinted Face Oil is actually amazing. They even got my skintone right. So that at least was a win. I wrote to Ipsy Customer Care about the moisturizer. I’m crossing my fingers for April because I am basically staying subscribed to stay on the list for Glam Bag X in May.
I hope that Ipsy Customer Care gets back to you about the oily skin moisturizer. They usually do respond to me if I contact Customer Care. And I hope the May X bag is worth it!!!

Now that’s a bag I would enjoy, though I think I like the $3 lip crayon the best!

That is such a pretty eyeshadow palette!! The shades are too dark for me but the formula is fantastic!
