Hyaluronic Shea Mask

All things hyaluronic are clearly having another moment. That’s fine with me. Using a hyaluronic acid serum is part of my twice daily regimen. So I was delighted when Le Mieux sent me their Hydrating Shea Mask to try out.

Le Mieux means the best in French. I definitely think their Hydrating Shea Mask is le mieux for either a quick boost of hydration when my skin feels dry, tight or uncomfortable. I apply a thin layer of the rich white, translucent gel-cream to freshly cleansed skin, wait between 15-25 minutes and wipe off the excess leaving my skin feeling soft, hydrated and firmer. Once or twice a week, I use it as a sleeping mask instead of an anti-aging moisturizer.

Although I reserve it for my face, Le Mieux Hydrating Shea Mask can be anywhere you have dry or rough skin: hands, feet, elbows, legs, wherever.

Here are Hydrating Shea Mask’s key benefits:

• Moisture-binding hyaluronic acid provides lasting hydration

• Shea butter conditions, soothes & helps repair dry skin

• Soothing oils deeply nourish & improve elasticity

• Algae extract helps restore moisture to maintain softness

It’s recommended for dry, very dry, normal, or sensitive skin.

Le Mieux Hydrating Shea Mask comes in a 2 oz. jar, and it is very affordable. Just $15. Definitely a terrific rejuvenating mask that you can afford to keep in your stash and use it whenever and wherever!

Sneak Peek at More Le Mieux

Le Mieux also sent along three mini Beauty Treats for me to check out:

Although all three seem terrific, Derma Relief Serum is my favorite because it delivers immediate results. With sacha inchi, bacaba, annatto, and açai oils, it leaves my skin blissfully calm, smooth, and resilient. Plus a little goes a long way, and I have managed to get this tiny bottle to last for weeks.

Le Mieux is a Los Angeles-based skincare company founded in 2004 by Janet Luu and a group of scientists, dermatologists and chemists to bring cutting edge skincare products to consumers and the professional community. Their products are cruelty-free and formulated without binders, fillers, thickeners, sulfates, or parabens. Interestingly, many of their products use hyaluronic acid as their “Master Molecule” employing it as a base instead of water. Cool.

If you are interested in purchasing Le Mieux products, I would be grateful if you would use my code when you check out: NEVERSAYDIEBEAU. As always, thank you so much especially now that my accountant says I can’t deduct the blog’s expenses, boo.

    1. I used the serum again last night, and I do love it. I need to look up the ingredients. It definitely seems to be glycerin-based

  4. Are there any options for mixed skin types? More like greasy? I feel like it sounds so good, but I’m not sure it’ll work well for me.

    1. That’s a good question, Michelle. Oftentimes, oily skin doesn’t need a hydrating mask because the skin makes enough of its own oil. There are lots of cleansing masks out there for combination and oily skin.
