A couple of year ago, I reviewed several makeup products from cruelty-free brand, Dibs Beauty. Now I’m back with some more of their fun and effective products!
Dibs Beauty Duet Baked Blushes
For some reason, blush seems to be more fun in the summer. Colors are often brighter, or at least they look more colorful against slightly tanned skin. Dibs Beauty Duet Baked Blushes are no exception.
Joining two shade combos that I already had (Pop Star and Spice Gal), I received three new Duet Baked Blushes to try out:
- Starstruck – Poppy Peachy-Coral / Golden Bronze
- VIP Pink – Electric Pink / Violet Fuschia
- Backstage – Muted Pink – Mauve / Deep Plum
- Pop Star – Poppy Pink/ Poppy Coral
- Spice Gal – Spiced Rose/ Sunset Orange
As you can guess, the peach-coral shade from Starstruck and both mauve shades in Backstage are my favorites.
Here’s the product description from the Dibs Beauty website:
“Swipe on sunset skin in seconds with this all-in-one blush, topper, and highlighter. Packed with hydrating jojoba and macadamia oils, this blurring talc-free baked formula amplifies glow while blurring texture, all in the flick of a wrist. Made to play, each duet dome has two shades that can be worn individually or blended for a custom rolling glow.”
Though hydrating, the powder blush/highlighter Duets are light as a feather. And they are quite long-wearing, especially since I often would wear creams that can have a tendency to disappear.
The key ingredients in the formula include:
- jojoba seed oil
- macadamia oil
- vanillin (that’s why it smells so yummy, though not overpowering)
- hibiscus liposoluble extract
- hyaluronic acid.
The Duets Baked Blush in its modern, dome shaped compact contains 0.3 oz./8.5g. Each is priced at $34.

Duo Brush Face
An easy and super soft way to apply the Duets Baked Blushes is with the cream and powder dual ended brush from Dibs Beauty (in the photo in the section above). It is so incredibly packed with the softest possible synthetic bristles that you won’t believe it.
Here’s Dibs’ description of Duo Brush Face:
“The original cream and powder duo brush! With a 58,000 person waitlist and a favorite of The Today Show – meet our iconic Duo Brush Face! Perfect for blending, setting, building & smoothing, the Duo Brush Face features a large rounded brush head for powder products and a slightly denser, angled brush head for cream products. Made with high quality synthetic brush hairs, this dual-ended tool goes where you go. Powder or cream or in-between, this brush does it all seamlessly, in the flick of a wrist!”
Wow, a 58,000 person waitlist! That’s crazy. But it looks to me like you can buy it on the Dibs Beauty website for $36.
The Double Dip Set: A Duet & Duo Brush Face
To save a few bucks, you can buy one of the 5 Duet Baked Blushes along with the Duo Brush Face. That’s the Double Dip Set, and it’s sold on the Dibs Beauty website for $62 rather than $70 if purchased separately!
These look very nice. I need good pigmentation for my still pale face. The brush really intrigues me.
The dual-ended cream/powder makeup brush from Dibs is a fantastic surprise! It’s so soft and so packed with fibers. I love it!
These look absolutely lovely, Allison! I want VIP Pink! It’s gorgeous and perfect for me! I am curious about that dual-ended makeup brush too! I have never tried this brand, but I am super curious about it!
The dual-ended brush is the bomb! And the blush/highlighters are adorable too. Dibs Beauty is a cruelty-free brand based out of Austin TX, started by a young mom. Their products are easy to use, and their emphasis is on blending your own shades from their colors. Fun stuff!
