Jordana Color Tint Blush Sticks Spring 2015

I’m really taken by all the new products and shades being introduced by Jordana for Spring 2015. The Modern Mattes (reviewed here) are definitely my favorite matte lipstick, and I also seem to be reaching for them more than any other lippie of any kind, matte or not. And the Easyliner lip pencils go on like a dream.

I was eager to try the little Jordana Color Tint Blush Sticks, 6 new shades for spring 2015 that were added to the current lineup of 6 that was introduced in 2012. They remind me of Maybelline Master Glaze blush that I like a lot. Plus, I prefer cream blush for my ultra-dry skin.

Here’s what Jordana says about them:

• Blendable Creamy Cheek Color
• Provides a Healthy, Natural Glow
• Convenient Pocket Size, Twist Up Application
• No Brush Necessary
• Made in Taiwan

Jordana Color Tint Blush Sticks shades

As cream sticks, they are easily buildable, but I found the color payoff quite good in one swipe. In fact, the red shade on me requires a light hand because the color is so robust. I’d love to see that one especially on dark skin. Take a look at the swatches in natural daylight.

My go-to shades are Baby Pink, Sunkissed and Peach Nectar. Which appeal to you?

They are just creamy enough to have decent slip during application. I usually blend them with my fingertips but you could use a brush. They go on easier when my skin isn’t bone dry. So if your skin is oilier, you’ll have no problem at all.  I have a cream blush from Stila that I love, but it’s almost too oily and it doesn’t last, whereas these last for many hours on me.

Each stick has a net weight of 0.21 oz/6 g. They priced around $2.99, and they are sold on the Jordana website as well as at most Walgreens. At that price, you can pick up a bunch of shades and enjoy the variety!

Have you seen these little cuties at your local Walgreens yet?

P.S. Although Ohio cannot compete with you by any means I have had it with snow! Presently getting dumped on once again! My tummy hernias have been screaming from shoveling. Just when it was all starting to melt too. 🙁

    1. I’m so glad you agree, Laura! And I’m so glad you’re enjoying yours 🙂 So sorry to hear about the snow you got. I know exactly what you’re saying about the hernia. I have one too in my diaphragm, and it is sticking out so badly with all this shoveling! Horrible looking. I hope the snow is finished for you in OH. We’re expecting a couple of inches tomorrow , ugh

  13. I would LOOOOOVE to see how that Hot Hot Hot works on you. It would likely be a little too “pank” for my skin, but based off of your swatches, I’m thinking you could rock it beautifully.

    1. Brittany, it’s a little brighter than my comfort level right now on my pastey-white skin, but in the summer I think I’ll like it more on me. Truth be told, I think it would look lovely on you, and I think Rouge Romance would be absolutely great!

  14. I wanted these so badly that I had to order from the Jordana website. The price is so great. I’ve only used Peach Nectar so far and it’s a winner.

    1. I think it was worth it, Marcia! I love these, and Peach Nectar is my favorite. My other two are SunKissed and Pretty Baby. I love Rouge Romance but it’s too much for me, and I think Hot Hot Hot will be great for summer when I get a bit of color in my face. I’ll be eager to read your review!

  15. These sound so great, they kind of remind me of the Tarte Cheek Stains (which I love) and love the dewy look that you get with cream blushes! Jordana seems to be on a roll this spring season, I really enjoy reading about frugal beauty products that work great!!

    1. I agree, Kristina. Jordana has been knocking it out of the park this spring, and it’s great to have another affordable but good quality alternative. I haven’t tried the Tarte Cheek Stains yet, but I think the stick is great delivery system for blush.

  16. I would love to see these beauties in person. Unfortunately, there’s no WG near me

    1. I haven’t checked my local Walgreens for them yet either. In the next town, one of the Walgreens carries Jordana and the other with a small beauty section doesn’t. Jordana has had a great spring lineup this year so it’s worth looking for, I think 🙂
