What initially attracted me to new-to-me J’s Natural Beauty skincare products is that it is a clean beauty brand made with natural and organic ingredients. It is vegan, plant based, non-toxic, and of course, cruelty-free.
While I don’t only use plant based skincare products, if I have the choice, I prefer to.
God’s Gift Day and Night Collagen Anti-Aging and Moisturizing Cream
This may be an odd thing to write, but Jews don’t write out the name of G-d. Instead, we add a dash like I just did in the previous sentence. Although it’s the name of the product, I will skip the “o”!
G-d’s Gift Day and Night Collagen Anti-Aging and Moisturizing Cream (from here on out, I will abbreviate the looooooooooong name as G-d’s Gift!) has everything I look for in a daytime anti-aging product:
- firming, anti-wrinkle, rejuvenating, and protective
- shea butter and aloe vera for super-hydration
- natural plant oils for antioxidants, essential fatty acids and encouraging the production of collagen and peptides
- no discernible fragrance (no fragrances added)
- sunscreen: SPF 30
- comes in an airless pump container to maintain the efficacy of the ingredients
I had started out using G-d’s Gift as a nighttime anti-aging moisturizer. However, I finally noticed that it is positioned as a “Day and Night” moisturizing cream, and I saw that it contains SPF 30 sunscreen. (Somewhere, I thought I noticed that it contained mineral sunscreen ingredients titanium dioxide and zinc oxide, but now I can’t find it.) As a result, I decided to flip around my use of the product. Instead of applying it at night (when I don’t need SPF 30), G-d’s Gift Moisturizer became my daytime moisturizer, and I like it even more!
Prior to trying G-d’s Gift during the day, I had been using a lightweight sunscreen lotion from Paula’s Choice. Though I love the lightweight lotiony feel of the Paula’s Choice Youth-Extending Daily Hydrating Lotion, it isn’t well-suited for my very dry skin. So on other than the hottest, most humid days, I had to wear another moisturizer over it.
Instead, using G-d’s Gift Day and Night Moisturizer during the day, my routine is one and done. My face is protected with SFP 30 and simultaneously, my face is hydrated with shea butter, aloe vera and plant-based oils. Much better!
Plus, G-d Gift Moisturizer quickly dries to a non-greasy finish. Frankly, I don’t like the oily “glow” that many sunscreens leave behind. I much prefer the non-glowy look of G-d’s Gift Moisturizer that also leaves my skin feeling plumped, velvety and hydrated.

Sorry but that’s a terrible name for a product. The moisturizer sounds good and I love the packaging. But I think they should change the name.
I think that the woman who developed J’s Natural Beauty believes that the natural and organic ingredients are a gift from God. But I agree with you, the name is not my favorite. However, I really like the moisturizer 🙂
I have this cream, and I really like it as well. I think simplifying the name would be preferable, but what’s in the jar is pretty fantastic!
