Korres Santorini Grape Velvet Skin Drink

One of the key reasons that I like Ipsy still is the discount that I can get on cosmetics, especially skincare. I have been eager to try Korres Velvet Skin Drink for quite awhile. It kept showing up in my Facebook feed, and you know how I am always tempted by ads on FB. The deep green glass bottle was calling my name for ages!

Finally, Korres Velvet Skin Drink was one of the skincare products at a discounted price on Ipsy, so my opportunity arrived.

Korres Santorini Grape Velvet Skin Drink

Back in May, I wrote about Korres Nourishing Probiotic Gel-Cream (reviewed here) that I purchased after trying a sample packet.

Korres is a clean beauty, cruelty-free brand from Greece. In fact, the ingredients are grown by farm families in Greece.

Korres Santorini Grape Velvet Skin Drink is a multitasking skincare serum that hydrates and blurs imperfections. It’s the lightest weight oil I think I have ever tried. Just a couple of drops from the glass dropper of this lovely concoction covers my entire face. I use one additional drop on my neck before neck cream.

It makes my skin feel hydrated and velvety soft. At this time of year (summer), I apply it only at night, and some nights, I don’t even use moisturizer over it. It is a perfect serum for me to apply before using my luxurious Space Touch Vega red light device. In the cold of winter, I expect that I may enjoy using it morning and night.

Ingredients

Velvet Skin Drink is made with organic plant actives. Key ingredients include a variety of oils: olive fruit oil, sunflower seed oil, olive oil, and grape seed oil. It also includes grape extract, vitamin E and the powerful antioxidant resveratrol that helps diminish fine lines and hyperpigmentation.

Ingredients: c13-15 alkane, cocoglycerides, octyldodecanol, isoamyl laurate, coco-caprylate, hydrogenated ethylhexyl olivate, alcohol denat., crambe abyssinica seed oil, olea europaea (olive) fruit oil, vitis vinifera (grape) fruit extract, water, ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate, ethyl linoleate, ethyllinolenate, ethyl oleate, ethyl palmitate, ethyl stearate, glycerin, helianthus annuus(sunflower) seed oil, hydrogenated olive oil unsaponifiables, lactic acid, lecithin, resveratrol, tocopherol, tocopheryl acetate, vitis vinifera(grape) seed oil, potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate, parfum/fragrance

As you may have noticed, “fragrance” is the last ingredient. If I hadn’t seen it in the ingredient list, I never would have known there was any fragrance in it. It has no scent, so I am guessing that it must be a masking scent.

Additional Info

Korres Velvet Skin Drink is cruelty-free, dermatologist-tested, non-comedogenic, vegan, and silicone-free. The recyclable glass bottle contains 1.01 fl. oz./30 ml of serum and is priced at $50 (which is why I was happy to get it at a discount via Ipsy). It’s sold on the Korres website, where you can get 15% off your first purchase by signing up for emails, and there’s free shipping. It’s also sold at Sephora, Ulta and Dermstore.com.
