Oh, now we’re on the other side of Labor Day weekend. Wow, did it go by quickly!
This was a big weekend in Gloucester: the weekend when schooners from all over the Eastern seaboard come to join the three Gloucester schooners to race and just to show off. Here are a few pix of three schooners: Columbia, Adventure and Alert.

Love the pictures of The Schooners. As I live surrounded by the Great Lakes I have had the opportunity to see many of them. Years ago my husband and I were fortunate enough to not only go out on a Sunset Cruise but actually spent the night on a schooner. Had breakfast with crew and learned so much from them. Good memories.
