I’m amazed at the beauty of the Merle Norman products that are new for this holiday season and beyond. A friend of mine reminded me that I thought it was strange that I wasn’t impressed when she bought from Merle Norman. She lives in a small city so the easiest place for her to shop was a MN Studio. She always raved about the products and now I’m the one ready to rave. Merle Norman has improved steadily over the years and I’m quite sure you’ll agree when you see what I have for you.

As you might have gleaned already I am an eyeshadow lover. I have so many that I often give palettes and singles away so I can make room for more. But the Merle Norman Sugar Rose’ eyeshadow palette is staying with me. There are so many shades in this palette that I absolutely love. This contains a mixture of matte, metallic, and luminous eyeshadows and I love the versatility of it. My preference are the metallic and luminous shadows but with the option of so many beauties that are matte I can combine or wear more subtle shades.
I’ve already done several eyelooks. I love to start with the top left shade Fuzzy all over or just my browbone. Then I start with either Flora (2nd row 2nd shade), Heavenly Rose (2nd row left) or Enchant (bottom row 2nd shade). I love to use Eclipsed on my outer lid (2nd row right) to finish before blending.
And speaking of blending these blend like a dream with no fallout. They last and last on me (I always start with a shadow primer) and even lasted well after my hair appointment while water often dripped down on me.

You’re right, Merle Norman, doesn’t get enough love. I’m really impressed by your swatches. Everything is so gorgeously pigmented. And the shadow palette is so versatile: good for everyday with the mattes and neutral shades or for a night out with the shimmers. I’ve been wearing a lovely deep rose Plush Lipstick called Flutter from Merle Norman for months now. I love it!
It’s not mentioned ever online but everything I have from them is spectacular. This e/s palette is what my mom would call “to die for”.

The mattes look good on but swatches didn’t show them off but the metallic and luminous shades are fabulous.
