Liberation Nails for long lasting vegan beauty

Give me nail polish any day of the week/year and I’ll be a happy camper. Even with the problems that the world (and me personally) has had the last few years, I never gave up on my nails. I always had them polished and ready to go even if the only person that saw me was my husband. I am a reformed nail biter and I never want to go back to those days. My parents would bribe me with everything they could think of but I never stopped. Now I never stop loving nail polish. My newest love is Liberation Nails, a line of vegan, non-toxic colors and treatments, made in the USA!

Sadly I only have one shade to share with you but it’s a true winner. There are 24 colors in their permanent collection and another 6 in their fall collection. In addition they have 4 Libbi polishes for kids as well as treatments and nail necessities. LIBERATION NAILS may not be in your vocabulary just yet but I hope it will be after my experience with them.

The shade I was sent is DARLING, it’s a soft, subtle polish that is appropriate for everywhere you go. While they have more daring shades having a color like Darling is what everyone needs. There are just some occasions that need to be understated and that’s what Darling is to me. Liberation Nails describes it this way: This palette-cleansing pink has a cool blue undertone—soft, subtle, and understated. A hit of harmony that will bring you back into balance. The polish was actually opaque in one coat but since I wouldn’t be doing another manicure for two weeks I wanted two coats. That made it richer and longer lasting.

What is a delightful surprise is that Liberation Nail Polish doesn’t just look good but it’s good for you and doesn’t have that strong polish scents. Their polishes are opaque and intentionally formulated with natural oils for the ultimate nail nourishment. All-natural essences provide a subtle after-polish aroma with hints of lemon, coconut milk, and vanilla. I didn’t notice that I was wearing lightly scented polish but it’s an added bonus.

It takes a lot for a company to become Leaping Bunny certified but Liberation felt it was necessary to prove how great their line is. It’s 21-free with no toxic ingredients, including parabens, phthalates, carcinogens, and mutagens that are found in too many of todays’ brands. The brand was created by Staci after her mother was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. She needed safe, effective and uplifting polishes.

Staci created Liberation Nails to be a source of celebration. This journey has taken her from grieving to healing to joyfully helping others enjoy creative expression.

She’s certainly helped me with my creative expression with this long lasting polish. I’ve been wearing it for two weeks now without any chips or shrinking. It’s a darling polish and one that I hope is just the beginning of my “liberation”.

Marcia, your nails look fantastic, and Darling is beautiful on you! I can’t believe your mani lasted, chip-free for 2 WEEKS! That’s phenomenal!

    1. Thanks Allison. I wash my hands constantly during the day but luckily it doesn’t affect my manicure. If a polish is as good as Liberation then it lasts for me.
