CIREM Cosmetics Story

Luxurious, Beverly Hills based CIREM Cosmetics is more than a pretty face. Originally formulated in a San Fernando Valley family-owned pharmacy, CIREM Cosmetics started out formulating high performance skincare products for discerning Hollywood clientele who needed effective skincare and fast results. Their products that started out in amber bottles evolved into a complete and incredibly elegant collection.

CIREM Cosmetics’ claim to fame is their cutting-edge Rapid Absorption Technology®, an innovative manufacturing hybrid of both cosmetic and pharmaceutical processes. Another of their claims to fame is their cocktail of three essential ingredients – Hyaluronic acid, Vitamin C and Retinol – that they call 3-in-1 used in their serum of the same name as well as in other  of their products. I am lusting after 3-in-1 Serum since it would make my routine so much easier with that essential combination. It’s on my wish list!

CIREM Cosmetics continues to be a research oriented company that is constantly researching and refining their products for efficacy and quality. They are also devoted to sustainability through the use of recycled materials in manufacturing their products as well as crafting their products in small batches so there is little waste.

Jardin des Fleurs Flawlessly Floral Rose and Lavender Eye Cream

I was sent CIREM Jardin des Fleurs Flawlessly Floral Rose and Lavender Eye Cream. The heavy plastic jar that looks like frosted glass with a rose gold top arrived in a small white box adorned with rose gold flowers – so pretty.

Although the ingredient list says there is fragrance in the formula, it is so light that unless you’re looking for it, it is almost undetectable.

The cream itself is fluffy white and surprisingly lightweight. When I tap it onto the area around my eyes as well as in my crease and on my dry lids, it feels almost like water.

In fact, it reminds me of the makeup artist developed moisturizer/primer called Water Balm from Sonia Roselli that I reviewed several weeks ago. Because the eye cream is so different from the rich creams and gels that I was accustomed to, I had to get used to this. I wondered if a cream what wasn’t heavy could do the job for my mature eyes. Since my go-to Belif Moisturizing Eye Bomb has been out of stock at Ulta, Sephora and the Belif website for more than a month, I have had to branch out and use different eye creams. So I have been using CIREM Cosmetics Jardins des Fleurs Flawlessly Floral Rose and Lavender Eye Cream (wow, that’s a mouthful of a name!) for quite some time. It is very refreshing to apply, it dries down instantaneously, and it is so soothing to the super dry skin especially under my brow, in my crease and on my lid. Although I wondered initially if this lightweight cream would work for my super dry skin, it does!

Formulated with three floral extracts – chamomile, rose and lavender – that lift, hydrate, replenish, and add radiance. Tripeptide 5 protects against collagen degradation, slows visible signs of aging and improves the look of fine lines and wrinkles. The floral extracts also help the skin’s surface look smoother and more radiant. Like CIREM’s other skincare products, the eye cream utilizes their Rapid Absorption Technology so the ingredients go to work fast and leave delicate eye skin looking better and feeling more comfortable in a flash.

Nevertheless, the technology and R&D as well as luxuriousness of the product come at a prestige price. Sold on the CIREM Cosmetics website, CIREM Jardin des Fleur Flawlessly Floral Rose and Lavender Eye Cream is priced at $139 for 15 g/10.5 fl. oz. Fortunately, a little goes a long way. I have been using it twice a day for a few weeks, and I have barely made a dent in the amount of cream. Yay, ‘coz I would like this luxurious treatment to last a long time!
