Lip Tips with a White Pencil: How to Make Your Lips Look Fuller

Last winter, I did a post about how to look more awake with white eyeliner. Some women may find that look a little jarring, but I really like it. If it’s too much for you, try the white pencil on the upper and lower waterline (the wet part of the upper and lower inside of your eye) instead of using it on the eyelid as a liner.

If white’s not your thing on your eyes, try a nude pencil, like NYX’s Wonder Pencil, instead. It’ll still make your eyes look more open, and give you a more natural look than the white.

But this post is about something else you can do with your white pencil. Like enhance your lips and lipstick! Some women have told me that, as they got older, their lips began to look thinner. This easy tip helps any lips look fuller.

Sephora White Eyeliner Pencil

Take your white liner pencil and outline the cupid’s bow of your upper lip and blend it in a bit. I’m using an inexpensive white pencil I bought at Sephora. A pencil with a good point works best. Now, apply your colored lipliner on top of the white and on the rest of your upper lip.

Next, use the white pencil or a white crayon or chubby stick on your lower lip. I’m using Maybelline Cool Effect in white that I bought a few months ago just because I have it, but any white pencil or chubby stick that you like is fine.

Make a white patch in the middle of the lower lip. Finishing lining your lower lip with colored lipliner and fill in your lips with your lipstick.

The white really makes a brightly colored lipstick pop, and it makes your lips look fuller.
