Long Lost Beauty Spotlight Team

Hello ladies, I hope you’ve been well. Here’s a quick update on what’s been going on for the past couple of weeks.

Marcia has been working with Justina to set up her new blog called Beauty Info Zone Too. In fact, Marcia has created two new blog posts that are ready for the new website but the site isn’t quite finished yet.

I’m having a difficult time with health issues. The most recent CT scan that I had a couple of weeks ago at the Boston hospital determined that I need to have surgery on my carotid artery. The vascular surgeon (who did Jeff’s surgery last year on his leg) said that he can clean out the artery. To be honest, I am worried about the surgery, but I had two different dates for it. Unfortunately, the surgery was put off twice because I came down with a bad chest and head virus on Valentine’s Day and I still have it. Yesterday, I got my spirits up and called to find out when the surgeon will be back from his vacation. So nurse scheduler said he should be back on March 6, so that’s my tentative date. Hopefully, the chest cold will be finished by then.

Nothing actually goes perfectly, because Jeff’s little granddaughter will be having her first birthday party on Saturday, March 11. He’s flying to the party on Friday and returning on Monday. I had planned to go, but obviously, I can’t fly and I can’t postpone the surgery further. Jeff must go, so I hope I will be OK to be home alone. My fingers are crossed.

In the meantime, I haven’t felt much like blogging. I hope I’ll be back to my old self again either this week or after my surgery is completed the following week. Take care and talk again soon!

Sorry that so many stressful, worrisome things are going on, Alison. It’s always harder when one health issue becomes compounded by another health issue or by another stressful life event. I have been keeping you in prayer, and will continue to pray.
