Lots of Ways To Tie a Scarf

I own about a zillion scarves. I’ve crocheted some of them, but many are various shapes and sizes of silk or silk and velvet scarves that I’ve bought or received as gifts over the years.

When it comes it innovative ways to wear them and tie them, I’m clueless. I know the one where you fold the scarf in half lengthwise, wrap it around your neck, and then put the ends through the loop and pull. But that’s about the only one I know.

I came upon a terrific video on Facebook that shows you a million different ways to tie scarves. I’ve watched it a couple of times, but when the time comes to tie my scarf, I never remember the ways and I can never find the video. Deb from No Nonsense Beauty Blog asked me to embed the video on my blog, and I thought that was a great idea. So here’s the video. And if you can’t remember the different ways, you can always come back here and watch it again!

Which new way of tying a scarf do you intend to try out? And tell me about your own favorite scarf and how you like to wear it in the comments  🙂

    1. A blogger who saw this video on my FB fan page asked me to embed it on my blog, so it was the perfect thing to do especially since I’ve got the flu or a bad cold. But I’m glad I did it because now I can always go back to this post and play the video and figure out an interesting way to tie my scarf instead of the same old same old!

  2. i saw this the other day and thought it was really cool too! my favourite is a super soft beige pashmina type from h&m years ago. I tie it really simply but it looks great with my coat.

    1. pashmina’s look great no matter which way you tie them!

  3. My kid loves scarves, but is getting bored of wearing the same way. I will definitely be showing this to her.
