Ever try one of those beauty products that is a game changer for you? Well, I found one that is for me. It’s not a new product. In fact, I’m late to the game, but I’m glad I finally tried it.
MAC Prep + Prime Lip Base is my lipgloss savior. I love to wear opaque lipgloss because it helps hydrate my lips. And I like the glossy look. Some of my glosses (Anastasia) stay in place, but other glosses that I also love (Melt lipgloss, shade Seance, a metallic rose gold) wanders all over the place even with lipliner. When I wrote about my disappointment with Melt lipgloss not staying in place, a couple of readers recommended that I try MAC Prep + Prime.
The last time Ulta had a 20% off coupon, I finally bought MAC Prep + Prime. Gee, am I glad I did. That stuff really works.
It’s a color-free lip base that adds moisture to my dry lips, prevents wandering and feathering even without using lipliner, and it manages to improve the appearance of my lips by making them look smoother. I don’t know how, but it is quite long wearing, like for several hours. Amazing!
The lip base is very lightweight. It’s fragrance-free and taste-free.
It’s priced at $19.00 for 1.7 g /0.05 US oz. It’s sold at MAC stores, on the MAC website, Ulta, Sephora, Nordstrom, and other retailers. For me, it is soooooo worth it!
What a great product! There is nothing more frustrating than a lip gloss or lipstick that you love, but that lacks longevity! This is a great solution!
