Milani Anti-Feathering Transparent Lipliner

My friend Miriam told me I should review Dior’s universal lipliner. I loved the idea of not having to have a million matching lipliner pencils like I have now. So I went to Sephora to check it out, and I discovered that the Dior lipliner costs $30. At that price, I passed.

I was thrilled to find out that Milani is introducing a new transparent lipliner to their Anti-Feathering Lipliner collection in February along with their Spring 2014 products. And I was lucky enough to get one from Milani to try out!

It’s a clear, waxy (in a good way), easy to apply lipliner. In the several days that I’ve been wearing it, it keeps a crisp line and has prevented my lipstick and lip gloss from feathering or bleeding. I am totally satisfied. Especially when I’m traveling, this universal liner will make my life much easier.

The Milani transparent lipliner can also be used as a primer to keep my lipstick on longer. Also, some lipsticks dry my lips, and using this as a primer seems to help my lips stay hydrated longer and keeps my lipstick looking better. It’s made with vitamins and moisturizing ingredients including hyaluronic acid, so it feels really good. This product is a win-win-win!

Milani’s new transparent lipliner will be available in February at CVS, Walgreens and Walmart as well as on milanicosmetics.com. The price is about $4.49 which is a true bargain, especially compared to the pricey Dior liner. The product is made in Germany. Milani is a cruelty-free brand. I’ve been waiting for this product! Put it on your shopping list!

Wow, I am dying to try this product too! Another similar product to this is the UD 24/7 Lip liner in Ozone, its also on the pricey side so anything that mimics or is pefrorms just the same as a high-end product has my vote any day! Thank You for this Review Allison.

Thanks, Maria, for letting me know about the UD liner! I’ve never noticed it. Tarte has a universal lipliner too, priced at $29. I think this new pencil from Milani will get a lot of women interested 😉

That’s a shame, gio! I just saw it in my local drugstore today. Where are you??

  6. This is seriously awesome news! I’ve wanted a universal pencil for ages but didn’t want to fork over so much for UD, Tarte, etc. I’ve nothing against those brands or anything, but it’s a clear pencil and rather a boring thing to drop $30 on. I’d rather have a $30 lipstick. At least something with some colour!

I’m with you 100%, Rach! Thanks for your comment 🙂
