Moon Bath Celestial Body Shimmer Mist

I can’t remember if it was last summer or the year before, but my friends and I made a trip to a new-ish restaurant, Nightshade Noodle Bar in Lynn MA, about a half hour or so from my home. The chef, Rachel Miller, was just made a finalist in the Massachusetts James Beard Award. She’s a very innovative chef, and except for her heavy hand with garlic, the food is delicious and unusual!

That evening, we parked right across from the restaurant. Getting out of the car, we were drawn to a very intriguing shop, Ravenstone Gifts, that was chock full of plants, accessories, body products, affordable jewelry, beautiful stones, books about magic and other cool topics, and some antiques. One of my friends who was with us that night and I decided to make a return visit to do some browsing and shopping. In fact, I wrote about our visit on the blog here.

For my birthday, my friend went back to Ravenstone and bought me a pair of silvery moon earrings that I wore the other night during the Perseid meteor showers…

and a bottle of Moon Bath Shimmer Mist from indie brand, Celestial Body.

Moon Bath is the perfect clean beauty, gender-neutral body mist for summer, or anytime actually. The ingredients are naturally and sustainably sourced, so there’s no synthetic fragrances or toxic ingredients, just organic goodness.

Here’s how Celestial Body describes the mist:

Amplify your inner radiance with gold-infused essential waters of vetiver and neroli. Celestial Body is a sensual and shimmering hair and body mist that will leave you glowing like the Queen or King that you are.

The vetiver and neroli scent is very light. In fact, I love the scent so much, I wish it would linger a little longer.

Vetiver

Reveals natural glow by supporting water retention to promote healthy, hydrated skin

Neroli

Also known as orange blossom, neroli calms the mind and body, while supporting cell regeneration

And the gold shimmer (that you can see on the bottle) is also very light. The gold is from natural mica. Shake well and spray away! When it’s sunny out, you can see a the pale golden shimmer on your skin. It is not “too much” at all regardless of your age or style.

If you’re in the area of the North Shore of Massachusetts, stop into Ravenstone and check it out. Also, make a reservation at Nightshade Noodle Bar for an unforgettable dinner! But if you’re not nearby, Moon Bath is sold on the Celestial Body website, on Amazon, or in Canada at The Perfect Petal. In the U.S., it’s priced at $20 for 2 fl. oz. It has lasted me a long time.
