Now that the weather is officially cold, I am wearing more layers and more tights and socks.
I had lots of opportunities to wear the rest of the hosiery that I received in October from Berkshire (reviewed here). But also, the black anklets and the black and white polka dot anklets that I reviewed last month are my absolute go-to socks that I wear just about every day with my shoes and boots. I need more of them because they are that comfortable, attractive, easy to wash and wear!
But let’s talk about the new ones.
Berkshire Comfy Cuff Cozy Hose Knee Length
The temperature really dropped last week. On Thanksgiving day, the high temperature was 14 degrees. Brrrr.
Knee highs cover more skin, and they’re great to wear with boots. The Berkshire Comfy Cuff Cozy Hose Knee Length are plush lined and warm and cozy to wear.
The Comfy Cuff, of the name of the product, truly is that, comfortable to wear especially over time. I have had knee highs in the past that after wearing them for several hours, I would have a line or indentation in my skin from the elastic at the top. Not so with Berkshire Comfy Cuff Cozy Hose!
They are made from the same cushy fabric as the black anklets, and they are a pleasure to wear. $7 pair
Berkshire Easy On! Cooling Comfy Control Velvet Touch Tights
When I was choosing the hosiery to try out from the vast number of products on the Berkshire website, the word “velvet” caught my eye. Reading “Velvet Touch Tights”, I thought they were velvet leggings! I thought velvet leggings would be good for the holidays. Silly me. 🙄 😳
When I opened the package, I was a little bit surprised. I was expecting heavy velvet leggings, and instead I got super soft, smooth, comfy tights made from a velvety fabric that is very similar to the black anklets and the knee highs that I already loved.
And as the name, Easy On!, states, they were indeed easy to put on. No tugging whatsoever.
They are cushy, cozy, comfortable, and definitely tights that I can wear much more often than if they had been actual velvet leggings. 😉
The band at the top of the tights is soft, stretchy and very comfortable to wear, even for hours at a time.
In the past, I have had pantyhose and tights that had an elastic band that was sewn onto the pantyhose that would dig into my skin after an hour or so of wear. Ugh. The band on Berkshire Velvet Touch Tights is pretty much sewn into the top of the tights as if it were all of a piece. And the band is stretchy, and made of the same comfy fabric as the control top.
Love these tights! They are great for everyday or casual occasions. And they are great for keeping my legs warm now that the temperature has dipped.

Berkshire Trend Two Tone Sheer Dots Control Top Silky Sheer Leg
So I was a little confused by the name of this hosiery too. I was expecting sheer black pantyhose with white dots.
Instead, Two Tone Sheer Dots are lightweight black translucent tights with white dots made from the same lightweight, silky fabric as the lightweight, silky black and white polka dot anklets that I love. Here’s what they look like on my leg. Sorry about the photo that also makes my leg shot from this angle look huge!
Frankly, I think I will have more occasions to wear these lightweight dotted tights than I would dotted pantyhose, so it’s all good. Maybe I am just not up on the current hosiery lingo, lol.
The waistband and the control top are made of the same comfortable, stretchy fabric as on the Easy On! Velvet Touch Tights. Nice!

Yes, yes, yes to knee highs that don’t leave an indentation on your legs. Need to get some of these ASAP. Great review and it is cold and snowy here in Michigan too.
Sandy, I’ve been wearing Berkshire pantyhose for decades, but somehow I never tried the socks and tights. They are a revelation! So warm and cozy! The knee highs are so nice and warm. Our snow melted in all the rain we’ve been having and I hope it stay away till January. Hope things warm up where you are xoxo
