More Makeup from Sorme Cosmetics

Back in early July, I wrote about three terrific and affordable lip products from Sormé Treatment Cosmetics. I wear the Lip Rescue lip crayon several times a week. It’s hydrating and the MLBB pink shade is perfect for days when I’m at home, exercising outside or out doing errands. The lip liner is fantastic, and someday when I don’t have to wear a mask in public, I will buy a red one.

Just as a reminder, Sormé Treatment Cosmetics are affordably priced and sold both on their website and at select CVS stores (so you can use Extrabucks!). The brand is cruelty-free. In fact, they say “No harm to animals, people and earth”. The products are also gluten-free and parabens-free.

I have two eye makeup products from Sormé that I wanted to share with you:

  • Precision Duo Liquid Eyeliner and Corrector Pen
  • Galicia Essential Eyeshadow Palette.

Precision Duo Liquid Eyeliner and Corrector Pen

Now this is a handy dandy beauty tool! It has an oh-so-easy to use thin tipped liquid eyeliner that glides on in Black on one side and a Corrector Pen on the other.

You can fix small errors with the Corrector Pen, or you can use it to smudge or soften the line. I love love love this liquid eyeliner. It also comes in dark brown, and I am considering it because I might use less harsh brown more often than black at my age.

The eyeliner duo is priced at $12.95.

Galicia Essential Eyeshadow & Highlighter Palette

This new neutral eyeshadow palette is perfect for fall. The shades remind me of autumn leaves. The palette is a little different with two highlighters and four eyeshadows.

The palette contains two highlighter shades, one that is golden and the other rose gold shimmer. Sormé describes them as a highlighter and a bronzer. I don’t know where they get the bronzer idea from because they are both pastel. They’re light and not overly sparkly, so you won’t end up looking like a disco ball. They’re perfect for the brow bone or the inner corner of the eye for a little glow. They can also be used as a subtle highlighter anywhere on the face, IMHO.

The other four shadow shades can be used individually or in combination. I would describe the shades as:

  • pale peach
  • brown with a hint of red
  • burnt sienna
  • coffee.

They were developed to look good on a variety of skin tones. In fact, I think you could use the shadows as a bronzer if you use a light hand.

Here are the swatches over Urban Decay Anti-aging eye primer:

The eyeshadow shades are pretty and very nicely pigmented. If I had a wish, it would be that there was a café au lait shade that would be good as a transition color.

Talc is the first ingredient, so the shadows kick up a little dust when you put the brush in the pan, but I haven’t had any fallout on my face when I apply them.

I only wear eyeshadow over primer, so I found the shadows to be long wearing with no fading.

The palette is made from heavy cardboard. Although there’s no mirror (I never use a palette mirror, so I don’t care), there is a two-ended brush and foam applicator that you can use in a pinch.

The Galicia Essential Eyeshadow & Highlighter Palette is priced at $19.29.

Have you seen Sormé Treatment Cosmetics at a CVS near you? I’ve been on the lookout, but I haven’t found them yet. It’s a good quality brand, so I hope they get more buzz. BTW, Sormé Treatment Cosmetics also makes skincare products, and lately, I have been seeing lots of sales for Sormé on Facebook.
