More Sleepshirts and Slippers from Soma Intimates

Cool Nights Summer Edition

I didn’t realize that Soma added so many new patterns or designs to their lineup of Cool Nights sleepshirts. They always seem to have new additions seasonally to their collection. And that’s not all, they also have pajamas in a variety of styles.

In addition to the traditional sleepshirts, they have so many sleepshirt and nightgown styles that also change seasonally:

  • short sleeve sleepshirt
  • soft support chemise with or without lace
  • Nights and Days tank lounger
  • smocked neck chemise
  • smocked waist chemise
  • short sleeve long sleepshirt
  • sleeveless sleep dress
  • lace trim chemise
  • sleeveless short tank
  • modern nightshirt
  • smocked ruffled gown
  • Nights and Days knee length chemise
  • satin and lace short or long gown

That’s a lot of summer styles! However, I stuck with my regular Cool Nights sleepshirts but with short sleeves. The pocket on the right breast is still there as a nice detail, though I have never used the pocket in any of my Soma sleepshirts.

I picked up two patterns, and not surprisingly, both were on sale:

  • DESTIN STRIPE H HEARTFELT: I have no idea what that name means other than the “Stripe”, but it’s a horizontal stripe that’s more peachy-pink than the above photo that looks coral. I love it.
  • BRUNCHES OF LOVE M NAVY: cocktails against a midnight blue background. Very cute.

Cozy Winter Slippers

I totally forgot that as a “Gold” member that I qualified for free shipping. Instead, I thought I needed to use the Shoprunner free shipping which requires a $50 minimum purchase. Duh. Since my sleepshirts were on sale, I didn’t reach that minimum. So, I looked for the cheapest thing I could add on to reach the minimum. Too bad I didn’t realize I had free shipping anyway!

I looked through the sale items on the website, and they had a pair of winter slippers in a “slide” style called Micro Chenille Slippers. Tonight as I visited the Soma website, I noticed that they had gray and black versions, but I don’t think I saw them. I bought red called HOME AT LAST.

They have a cozy chenille upper and rubbery/plastic soles.

When I was shopping, they were on sale for $3.99, though now the sale price is $9.99.

The slippers are warm and cozy. I like that they don’t have backs, like the ones I got a few years ago from L.L.Bean that are hard to slip on at night in the dark. I bought Micro Chenille Slippers in size Small since I wear a size 6.5. What I’ve noticed lately when I’m shoe shopping is that “today’s” shoes are often too wide for me. For years, the width came in letters, e.g. I wore a size 6.5 B with a AA heel. Now, there’s just Medium and occasionally, you can find Wide and Narrow. Oh well, though the slippers are a tad wide for me, they are definitely worth the money I paid for them.

So, I am finished with sleepshirt and slipper shopping. However, I hope that Soma brings back the 3/4 sleeve model that I own in black with some additional patterns.

If you’re a “hot sleeper”, check out the Soma Cool Nights sleepshirts and PJ sets. You’ll be glad you did!
