•  Scentbird Perfume Subscription Service

Since we’re talking about perfume, consider giving Scentbird a monthly subscription service where you take a quiz and list your fragrance favorites, and Scentbird devises a list of perfumes from which to choose your monthly scent.

Oscar de la Renta perfume, fragrance subscription service, perfume

Scentbird sends a purse size spray that they say is good for a month, I’d say much longer than that, for $14.95 or less depending on how many months you sign up for: 3, 6 or 12 months. You can say 15% on the first month by signing up with my referral link below:

And finally here’s one more really cute idea for moms who are chocolate and animal lovers: a box of handmade chocolate mice with silk tails from Boston chocolatier, L.A. Burdick (16 mice $48, 9 mice $32, 4 mice $13)

I found my pink chucks ridiculously hard to keep clean, so I got rid of them. *hides behind a rock to dodge thrown tomatoes*
My mother’s list is usually only three things: coffee/tea, antiques, clean house. I have a couple of those down but should probably get cracking on the third. Bet you can guess which one that is, hahaha. And I did supplement this year with a little something from L’Occitane that I could tell she liked but would never in a million years ask for or purchase for herself.
But I think my cats should buy ME those chocolate mice. After all, they get toy mice out of me every holiday, so it’s only right they return the favour every once in a while, don’t you think? 😛

    1. I do! You would love the chocolate mice. They are filled with delicious ganache fillings, one has a slight orange flavor, one is dark chocolate, and I can’t remember what the 3rd flavor is. I used to send those cute little mice to my clients for thank you gifts. Hopefully, you’ll get your mother’s house cleaned by Sunday, lol. The L’Occitane is a great idea. I forgot all about the very nice sub box they were selling for about $20 a couple of weeks ago!

  8. I think my mom would like 10 or 11! But I actually did buy her gift – an Alex and Ani bracelet! I still need something for my grandmoms, though!!

Thank you! I hope you have a happy Mother’s Day too. It’s funny, I don’t have a big jewelry collection, but, I was so drawn to these pieces! I’ll have to visit the Peabody Essex Museum gift shop. I’ve heard it’s very nice.

        1. Yes, I hope you will. Perhaps we can meet, Valerie! The museum is quite wonderful, too. And I always hear the siren song of their fabulous gift shop 🙂

          1. Valerie C. says:

  27. You have some great gift ideas here. Each year since I was old enough to have my own money – I have gotten my mom a rose or made one… whether it was a real rose, silk rose, paper rose I made, rose made out of shells… you name it – I have done it… even a real rose dipped and sealed in gold. It’s a tradition… but this list is still great 🙂
Honeygirlk recently posted…Makeup Monday – BH Cosmetics Missy Lynn PaletteMy Profile

    1. I love your tradition, Honey! Ill bet your mom really looks forward to it. She must have quite a collection now!

      1. thank you 🙂 I started giving them to her when I was about 10 years old… so she has about 35 of them. She has a shelf for those that are “forever” roses and the real roses, they are either pressed and dried or she has thrown them out. But she keeps the cards. She loves it. 🙂

        1. It’s wonderful, Honey <3

  28. That Tony Moly packaging is the cutest!! These are some great gifts ( I should send DH this link 😉 )
