After we returned from our trip to North Carolina, I reviewed Mountain Mist Handmade Shea Creme here, and I told you how well the Cashmere Vanilla fragrance in the body butter suited me. The Cashmere Vanilla scent is described by Mountain Mist as “warm and welcoming oatmeal with a rich vanilla scent”. Frankly, I don’t smell oatmeal, but I do agree with a “warm and welcoming” scent. It’s not a gourmand vanilla; it doesn’t smell like a bakery. It does smell relaxing and rich.
So no surprise, when I ordered two more tubs of the Cashmere Vanilla Shea Creme, I also ordered the Solid Perfume and Roll-On Perfume oil so that I could layer the scent and make it last longer.
Although the Mountain Mist fragrance doesn’t forever on my skin the way that the perfumes that I buy from niche and mainstream perfumers often do, layering the three formats does make a big difference. In fact, when I wear the trio when Jeff and I go out, he always notices and comments positively about the scent. Plus, the Solid Perfume and Roll-On Perfume are so easy to pop into my makeup bag and take them with me to reapply. Roll-On Perfume comes in 12 other fragrances that you can see in the drop-down menu on the website. The easily recyclable glass roller-ball bottle contains 1 fl. oz. The perfume oil is made from Sweet Almond and Jojoba Oils as well as high quality essential oils and fragrance oils. $10
In addition, the Solid Perfume comes in 13 fragrances. The small metal container, holding 0.25 oz., is made up of Beeswax, Sweet Almond Oil, Coconut Oil and high quality essential oils and fragrance oils. $6
IMHO, I think Mountain Mist’s handmade, cruelty-free scents are just the thing for summer! So happy I discovered this affordable body care brand!
