My cousin’s long-time partner sent me a gift to help me relax and recover. Although I already have two diffusers and a number of essential oils from a variety of brands, I am very grateful for her thoughtful gift.
Guru Nanda Honeycomb Ultrasonic Diffuser
When it comes to essential oils and diffusers, Guru Nanda (that I’ve written about previously here) is my favorite brand. In my office, I have a portable, travel diffuser that I enjoy. You turn the oil bottle upside down and attach it to the small diffuser, and you’re good to go.
But my friend sent me the perfect diffuser for my bedroom. The Honeycomb Ultrasonic Diffuser fits comfortably on my small antique night tables.
It’s easy to operate. Fill it to the top of the red signal with water, drop in two or three drops of essential oil, and turn it on.
The diffuser changes colors, and it’s fun and relaxing to watch. Importantly, it shuts itself off when it’s just about empty.

The perfect gift. I had one that changed colors too but it was in my bathroom so I couldn’t enjoy that as much.
As much as I love the portable diffuser, it’s too small for my bedroom. And I had another diffuser that also changed colors but it was too big and it had to sit on the floor. The GN Honeycomb is the perfect size for me. And it is helping me relax at night and fall asleep!
Hi, Allison – I am so happy to hear about this! I’m going to have to get it for myself as a gift. I’ve had a beautiful one like this for years but now the motor is dying out. I put it on every night to light the darkened room while I do my bedtime yoga practice. Then I turn off the light and let it stay on next to my bed to humidify the air while I sleep. That way, I don’t need to wake up so much to take sips of water and I breathe better. I’ve been using the Breathe essential oil blend to help heal my lungs post-surgery.
