My Gloss48.com Lipgloss Haul

Nothing gives a girl a lift like new lipstick or lipgloss or lip color anything! Last Friday, I received 4 new lip glosses from Gloss48.com, two from a brand I know quite well LipTini, and two were new brands for me: Tat2U and LuMesh. What I love most about Gloss48 is that it’s a fantastic way to get to know new indie brands! Gloss48 finds all the great new brands and brings them together in one place: www.gloss48.com.

What I love about the four lippies I received is that they are all different. Let’s take a look.

Tat2U Lip Creme Extreme: Sweet Serendipity

opaque mauve lipgloss

Tat2U Sweet Serendipity is an opaque mauve gloss that comes in packaging with eye-catching, fun graphics. The gloss goes on with a doe-foot applicator, and it’s lightweight and easy to apply. It has a faint melon scent that’s almost undetectable. It feels smooth and nourishing on my lips. It’s not overly sticky, though I might not wear it or any gloss for that matter on a real windy day! I adore the fact that Tat2U Sweet Serendipity is opaque, and I can wear it on its own. Love, love, love this one!!!

Tat2U Lip Creme Extreme comes in a tube that holds 0.25 oz/7g. It’s cruelty-free, made in the US, and it’s priced at $14. It comes in 5 other shades as well.

Here it is on my lips. I reach for this one very often! Love this shade  🙂

LipTini Double Shot Lip Stain & Gloss Wallbanger

'Tini-Double-shot-lipstain-gloss-Wallbanger

First, don’t you just love the look of this double-ended tube? I do! Double Shot is a two part product: lip stain and a hydrating gloss. Wallbanger is an orange-red shade that’s just perfect for me! Instead of being bright orange, it is a my-lips-but-better shade. The gloss is also orange, and it intensifies the shade a bit. Although the lip stain is somewhat buildable,  it is a translucent shade, a lip enhancer. It’s beautiful.

The stain is applied with a doe-foot applicator, and it takes about 30 seconds to dry down. It’s a bit sticky. And the gloss is applied with a brush. It is sooooooo SHINY! It is also thick and hydrating, but it is sticky. I don’t mind it, again as long as it’s not a windy day. I didn’t notice any scent with either one.

As a stain, this combo does not disappoint. I just had an Indian meal, and my lip stain is still intact. Impressive!

I love the look of this shade. It is me! And it feels soooo good on my dry lips.

The lip stain side contains 0.17 fl. oz/0.5 ml, and the gloss contains 0.12 fl. oz/3.7 ml. LipTini Double Shot is cruelty-free, vegan, made in the US, and it’s priced at $24. It comes in three other shades.

LipTini Lipgloss Cuba Libre

'Tini-lipgloss-Cuba-Libre-tube

Ooooh, the Cuba Libre shade is GORGEOUS! Rich, coppery brown shimmer. ‘Tini calls it “a cola-color with a bronzy shimmer”. On the box, it’s called a topper. Cuba Libre is somewhat sheer, and I think it looks good on its own as a MLBB nude shade. It also looks great as a topper over a nude or brown lipstick; it provides depth and shimmer. I’m wearing it below as a topper over a nude matte lipstick. Definitely a great redhead shade!

copper-colored lipgloss

LipTini-lipgloss-Cuba-Libre-me

It’s applied with a brush. It has a slightly sweet but appealing scent that goes away instantly. It too is sticky like almost any gloss.

LipTini Cuba Libre Lipgloss contains 0.12 fl. oz/4 ml. It’s cruelty-free, vegan, made in the US and is priced at $18. I believe it also comes in 12 other shades.

Polybutene, Octyldodecanol, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Tridecyl Stearate, Tridecyl Trimellitate, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Castor (Ricinus Communis) Seed Oil, Microcrystalline Wax, Dipentaerythrityl Hexacaprylate/Hexacaprate, Ozokerite Wax, Trihydroxystearin, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Phenoxyethanol, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, Ethyl Hexyl Salicylate, Capryl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Hexylene Glycol, Calcium Aluminum Borosilicate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Vanillin, Silica. MAY CONTAIN (+/-): Mica (CI 77019), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), FD&C Red 7 Calcium Lake (CI 15850:1), FD&C Red 7 Aluminum Lake (CI 45410:2), FD&C Yellow No 5 Aluminum Lake (CI 19140), D&C Red No 6 (CI 15850), Tin Oxide (CI 77861).

LuMesh Lipgloss Laurie

LuMesh-Laurie-lipgloss-packaging

LuMesh Lipgloss comes in a square tube with a very handy mirror on one side of the tube. I love the look of this sophisticated packaging with the double logo on the black wand handle.

The Gloss48 website says that LuMesh lipgloss adjusts to the complexion of the wearer, and it “illuminates from within”. Very interesting!

Laurie is a candy pink that is perfect for spring, and the shade gives me a boost just looking at it. It can be sheer or buildable to an opaque gloss.  It’s applied with a modified doe-foot foam applicator, and it goes on easily. It has no discernible scent.

LuMesh-lipgloss-Laurie-me

It does have a slight tingle or cooling sensation when first applied, but squinting to read the ingredients, I don’t see peppermint oil listed, and it is comfortable for me to wear. The website also says it’s loaded with vitamins and plant extracts for hydration that builds over time when used regularly. It’s paraben-free. It’s made in the US. LuMesh Hydrating Lipgloss comes in about 10 other very pretty shades as well as the one I received, and it’s priced at $24.

Finally, here are swatches for the three glosses that give you a better idea of the sheerness or opacity.

LuMesh, LipTini, Tat2U lipglosses

I love ’em all, but I must admit that Tat2U Sweet Serendipity is my favorite. But the Tini Double Shot Wallbanger is a close second. Head on over to Gloss48 to take a look for yourself!

    1. Living in a tropical climate, oh what I would give for a tropical climate right now!! It’s been so cold here, I haven’t been going out that much except to shovel snow, lol. But I don’t wear gloss in a wind. I stick to lipstick on a windy day too 😉
