My Sigma Brush Haul & Sale Alert

About a month ago, I noticed that Sigma had a sale going on with a lot of their makeup brushes on sale for up to 50% off. I had only tried one of their brushes, I think, and I’m not sure how I got it. Must have been through Ipsy. I know that a lot of women and a number of makeup artists really like Sigma, so I decided to take advantage of their sale. I think I ended up paying less than $50, and I got 5 new brushes. Also, Sigma brushes come with a 2 year warranty.

Sigma is having another sale that they’re calling a Halloween Sale on some of their brushes now, up to 50% off with the code SALE50. They are also throwing in a free Wicked Eyeliner Brush that’s unique to this sale. Take a look and see if there’s anything you need or that you want to buy as holiday gifts.

Speaking of sales, I just got an email from Sephora announcing discounts on their limited edition Sephora Favorites kits: lip, perfume, mascara, black-owned beauty, overall favorites etc. Again, another holiday gift idea to buy now and put away till December.

Plus a reminder to enter my quick Pumpkin & Spice Exfoliator Scrub giveaway that ends at midnight this coming Monday/Tuesday.

Sigma Sale Brushes that I Bought

The brushes that I use the most tend to be eyeshadow brushes and concealer brushes, so that’s what I bought. The brushes with the black handles below are from the Bunny Black collection. Here they are:

  • F70 Concealer: sale price $9.80
  • E70 Medium Angled Shading: sale price $9.80; easy to handle, great for creating a V
  • E48 Pointed Crease: sale price $14.00; They must have been happy to sell this weird brush. I was captivated by the long bristles and pointed shape of this Pointed Crease brush. I had never tried anything like it. I hoped it would make applying shadow in my crease easier, but truth be told, the bristles are about a 1/4″ too long for me. Oh well, I still use it anyway. Here it is next to the S20 Cream Brush so you can get an idea of the bristle length.

  • E60 Large Shader: sale price $11.20; perfect for a single lid shader
  • S20 Cream Shadow: good for either cream shadow or for concealer

There are lots of other sale brushes to choose from including a Skin Set.

Along with my order, Sigma included a sample packet of their Brush Shampoo that I haven’t tried yet and a coupon code for $10 off my next order, though I’m not sure I can still use it because it says to use within 30 days and it’s a little more than that already.

I’d say my two favorites from my little haul are the E60 and E70, the two shaders, but they’re all very nice brushes: easy to use, easy to clean.

Happy Halloween!

Hope you are doing well as you go through this latest storm. Just heard from my cousin, who is in Marshfield, that yesterday was the third day without power

    1. Thank you, Sandy. I fortunately wasn’t without power for as long as your cousin. The southeast part of the state really got the short end of the stick. I don’t know why Comcast or whoever their electric company is couldn’t get to them sooner. I was lucky that the big trees on and next to my property didn’t lose any major limbs this time. Thank goodness! I hope your cousin got her power back by now. At least today, the temperature was about 65.

  2. I like your selection from this range. If I wasn’t swimming in so many brushes, then I would shop this sale!
