My Thoughts on Perfect Repair: Perfect for Me!
For those who are concerned about fragrance in personal care products, the scent is described as being inspired by Japanese bamboo forests with a hint of green tea and cypress. To be honest, I don’t recall much of a discernible scent at all while using the products, and no scent was left behind on my hair.
The shampoo made a nice amount of suds but was easy to rinse clean. The conditioner was rich enough for my dry, coarse hair. My hair was very manageable afterwards. Honestly, I loved this duo, and I wished I had received full bottles since they had everything my hair needs since this collection was develop specifically for color-treated hair!!

My Thoughts on Perfect Shine
Again, the fragrance, described by the brand as “a refreshingly light, soft scent with notes of violet and almond”, again has no discernible scent for me which is too bad because I like both violet and almond. But that’s OK. I use so many highly scented shower gels that I am not looking for haircare products that have a strong fragrance.
Like Perfect Repair Shampoo, Perfect Shine makes plenty of rich suds but rinses clean without making my hair feel stripped. Lovely!
I like using detox shampoo from time to time because it rids my hair of buildup and gives it a fresh start. In the past, I have found some detox shampoos can strip my hair, leaving it too squeaky and dry. Perfect Shine does not leave my hair dry at all. It seems very gentle. It is an excellent addition to my stash. The Perfect Shine Conditioner is rich enough for my dry, coarse hair.
