New City Beauty Ultra-Fill Marionette Line Treatment & Sitewide Sale!

Not too long ago, I was complaining to Jeff about my jaw that still hurts after my surgery in March. I have trigeminal nerve neuralgia which means my jaw is both numb and sore, my nerves hurt intermittently and feel like a quick electric shock, and my swallowing is off. Jeff reassured me that with time it will get better.

As I continued to complain about the skin on my jawline that now appears droopy in spite of all the work I did prior to the surgery to keep it taut, it looks different to me. Jeff said something like, Well, you have those folds on either side of your mouth, so that’s why your jaw looks like that.

Oh, geez, somehow over the years, while focusing on my keeping my jawline firm, I forgot about “marionette lines” or nasolabial folds. Nice of Jeff to mention it, lol. And though I don’t think they have anything to do with my current jaw, I took a look at them and boo, I needed to start paying attention to them. In addition to the folds, I noticed little fine lines or feathering starting to form horizontally from the folds. See what I mean? Ugh, another thing to focus on.

City Beauty Ultra-Fill Marionette Line Treatment

A couple of weeks late, I got a package in the mail from City Beauty: new Ultra-Fill Marionette Line Treatment. Perfect. And to me, the product is perfect too. So easy to apply twice a day. Open the slim tube, and pump out a little peach-tone cream. Dab it onto the marionette lines. That’s it!

Actually, it should be applied as one of the last steps in your morning and evening skincare routine. It dries very quickly. But if you are applying primer, foundation, or sunscreen over it, pat the additional products over the folds so you don’t end up smearing the cream.

Here are its benefits:

  • Helps smooth the look of marionette lines
  • Delivers deep hydration
  • Helps plump the look of nasolabial folds
  • Creates a firmer, more elastic appearance

The hydrating cream forms a flexible, invisible film over the fold via highly concentrated supportive ingredients. The cream appears to fill in the area making it less visible. Ultra-Fill Marionette Line Treatment gives skin a smoother, firmer, tighter-looking appearance which is certainly what I’m after.

I recently noticed those lines and wasn’t happy about them. After I wash my face sometimes I’ll notice foundation that didn’t completely come off and it’s always in those lines. I’m glad City Beauty has come up with a product to help reduce them.

    1. Yes, I somehow thought they were laugh lines that only showed up when I smiled or laughed. Silly me! Let’s see what I can do about them. Have a great weekend, Marcia!

  2. Yay, Allison, I’m so happy to find out about this! And a sale, too! Couldn’t be better (well, except their prices could actually be better to begin with. Lol!) You are looking good. I think you’re looking at yourself with a magnifying lense, which us women tend to do to ourselves. I’m thankful, too, that you described what that feeling is that I also have after recently undergoing surgery. For me, I was wondering why the numbness/soreness with the pinprick shocks once in awhile was persisting under my arm. I was told by one of the doctors that it would go away about two months after the operation. But it only went partially away and now it has been four months. It doesn’t feel good at all. I’ll have to find out more about trigeminal nerve neuralgia. There must be something we can do about it! Thanks for this very important blog post – Angie, http://www.yourtrueselfblog.com

    1. I’m sorry that you have the same sensation but under your arm. The trigeminal nerve controls functions in the jaw, neck, ear, so I don’t think that’s it for you (though I could be wrong since graduate school was so long ago!). But check into other nerves that control the area under the arm. I hope you feel better soon xoxo

I really, really want to try this! How are you doing?

    1. I really like it. I’ve got my fingers crossed that it will make a difference! I’m doing OK, some things are improving. How about you?

      1. Gabrielle says:

I’m so glad there are improvements for you. I got some tough news today. Trying to get a handle on it.

        1. Oh no, Gabrielle, what is your difficult news? Can you say? I am so sorry, in advance.
