When it comes to body wash, something I use every day, I’m about two things:
- fragrance
- hydration.
I love trying new brands and scents.
This week, I’ve been using two different scents from Dial’s new “Silk &…” Moisturizing Body Wash collection:
- Silk & Ginger: a fresh spice blend
- Silk & Magnolia: an uplifting light, sweet floral.
Both scents are light, fragrant but not overpowering. The collection has two other scents as well:
- Silk & Seaberry: a fruity scent
- Silk & Orchid: a luxurious floral.
Dial Silk & Moisturizing Body Washes contain silk serum for luxurious hydration. Dial describes it as “an advanced moisture attracting formula containing silk (protein) serum for skin that feels as healthy and touchably soft as it looks”.
The body wash is a thick pearlescent cream. I always use a pouf with these two lovelies because the pouf and the formula together make oodles and oodles of silky, rich suds. It’s truly pampering and a pleasure to use.
Although it is moisturizing, the formula rinses clean leaving my skin feeling supple and smooth. I always use either dry oil or body butter after a shower. But after using Dial Silk Moisturizing Body Wash, if for some reason I couldn’t use a moisturizer, my skin would still feel hydrated, not tight and dry.
Dial Silk & Moisturizing Body Wash collection is easy to find and a very good value. It’s available at most drugstores and mass market retailers such as CVS, Walgreens, RiteAid, Target, Walmart, and supermarket chains. It’s also sold on Amazon. The price is about $4.19-4.99 for 16 ounces. I think there’s also a larger 21 ounce size that’s sold in stores. You can get more info on all of Dial’s body washes (there are A LOT!) here.
When I run out of what’s in my travel bottle, I will refill it with Silk & Magnolia to bring to the beach club. It will be perfect. In fact, though I showered with Silk & Ginger this morning, I need to take another shower tonight after my jog in the 90 degree, 100% humidity weather this afternoon. This time I’ll use Silk & Magnolia for a soothing, pre-bed relaxing shower.

I like Dial! Id probably choose the Silk & Magnolia one!
Those scents sound amazing! I have to stick with my salicylic acid body washes since my skin doesn’t shed properly, but I wish I could use some fun scented ones like these.
Loving the scent descriptions. I haven’t used Dial in forever! I need to give them a closer look!
I hadn’t used Dial in decades, but now I am very impressed! Love the light scents, oodles of lather and hydration. Plus $4!!!
Silk and Magnolia sounds like one I would really like. We use Dial quite a bit, so I will keep an eye out for it!

I can’t believe they’re about $4 a bottle. I was also amazed by how many different scents and types of hydrating body washes they have. It’s been ages since I have used Dial, and they have definitely upped their game
