I love the Zoya neutral shades. Don’t get me wrong, I love Zoya’s bright colors and Pixie Dusts too, but the Naturels collections really speak to me.
I reorganized all my nail polish when I recently bought the triple stacked apothecary storage jar (reviewed here), and the shades that I own from the two Zoya Naturels collections jumped out at me as I placed them in their new home. I was too lazy to do a regular ombre mani with sponges, so I took five shades, one for each finger, from the two Naturels collections, and here’s the result. Sorry about the tip wear. Yesterday, I raked the yard, picked up leaves and put the perennial border to bed for the winter, and tip wear is the result. But I didn’t like the pix that I took before doing chores. This gives you a idea of how the shades look together.
From thumb to pinky, I used Zoya Aubrey, Odette, Madeline, Brigitte, and Rue.
I love the look! Subtle but fun. Would you wear this?

Yes, it does! I don’t really know what to call this mani. I’ve heard some people call it an ombre, but it’s not really

I actually did an ombre mani with the colors from the first Zoya Naturel collection when it came out last year! I like the way all of these shades play together.

Yes, I think they would look great on you, Honey. The Naturel Deux Collection has beautiful deeper shades like Aubrey and Madeline, and there’s Spencer, a camel colored shade that I’m dying to get.
I’ve never tried Zoya, though I keep hearing great things about them. I’m not great at painting my nails, but I’m slowly learning to have patience with it, and that I need to purchase better nail polishes. Maybe I should get some of these?

Zoya makes fabulous nail polishes, Jenny! They have zillions of shades and finishes. I’d say they are an industry leader. The brand has so many fans, it’s unbelievable. You should try one. They’re sold at Ulta. 🙂
