I know, I know. Today is Friday, but I started writing this on Wednesday after using the happy, fun 7th Heaven Pink Guava Peel-Off Mask from Montagne Jeunesse.
7th Heaven has a slew of affordable facial masks that come in brightly colored, uber eye-catching single use packets, many of which are perfect for combination or oily skin. I’ve written about 7th Heaven previously with a review of the perfect for my skin, Coconut Cream Deep Moisture Boost Mask. This time, I was also sent 3 charcoal masks that I am going to give away to one lucky NSDB reader. So stay tuned for the giveaway below.
7th Heaven Pink Guava Peel-Off Mask
The packaging alone would make me lust after this adorable mask. I love the colors and the girl with guava slices on her eyes. So much pink!
Key Ingredients and Benefits
Guava is a tropical fruit that I don’t think I’ve ever eaten. But seeing how pretty it is and what great health benefits it has, I must seek it out!
Guava is very rich in vitamin C and antioxidants, perfect skincare ingredients for brightening and protection from free radicals. In this pretty pink mask, guava is combined with mangosteen, an anti-inflammatory that is also a rich source of antioxidants. Mangosteen also helps prevent break-outs. Apple and pear round out the fruits in this natural face mask.
How To Use the Mask
Pink Guava Peel-Off Mask is an exfoliating, peel-off mask that removes debris and dead skin cells but is gentler than a scrub. It cleans and reduces pores, calms redness, and deeply cleanses without irritating skin. With continued use, the vitamin C rich mask can help reduce dark spots and even skin tone.
The mask itself is translucent hot pink, and it looks pink on my face. What fun! And it smells great too. I’m not sure how to describe the scent: it’s fresh and sweet, a mix of floral and fruit. The scent is wonderful, but it isn’t a strong scent when worn on the skin. Maybe that’s what fresh guava smells like?
I paint it on my cleansed skin with a foundation brush in a semi-thick layer. Too much and it won’t dry. Too little and you can’t peel it off. But truthfully, it isn’t hard to get it right. Below, this is how it looks wet. It looks pinker in person, fyi.
Then, either go about your business or relax for about 20 minutes while the mask dries. The Guava Peel-Off Mask tightens as it dries, but to me it’s not a strong unpleasant tightening. It just lets me know it’s working, and that it’s ready to be peeled off. In fact, look, no wrinkles!
Then, grab the dried mask by one of the edges and start pulling. It’s an interesting sensation to pull the mask off! Afterwards, my dry skin feels incredibly clean but not stripped. Even though there is alcohol in the ingredient list, it doesn’t irritate or typically dry my already dry skin. After removing the mask, I rinse with warm water and then apply serums and moisturizer. Easy peasy and fun to use. Although this mask is formulated for those with combination and oily skin, I can use it with good results even on my dry skin.

I have a slew of black clay masks so please pass me by if leaving a comment wins for me,they tend to dry me out. I’m looking at your pics and in awe of the wrinkle free result right before removal and wondering if it lasts through removal and daily routine serum & moisturizer application? That would be grand! You know me,always looking to get rid of my wrinkles even temporarily. I’ve had masks work well but upon removing and/or application of product they’re back. Laura, the Pink Guava is super fun to use. For me, it is gentle cleaning. I showed that photo with my wrinkles gone once the mask dried for fun. I wish it got rid of them even for a few hours, but no such luck. The Pink Guava Mask is best for cleansing, brightening and protection from free radicals. You might also consider the Coconut Cream Deep Hydration Mask if you skin is on the dry side. I’ll be responding to your email separately 🙂
