Last night, I was so incredibly tired that I couldn’t write a blogpost. I have hired a man from Senegal to take down the wallpaper in one of my bedrooms,
and then paint three of the four walls. He is doing an excellent job! Though he must be the second nicest man in the world (after Jeff), he likes to chat. A lot. He’s extremely interesting, especially his stories about Senegal and its culture. But I am not used to talking quite so much during the day! I was so tired last night that I got in to bed at 9:30pm which for me is unheard of.
Today, he touched up the paint in my kitchen, and repainted the paint around my fireplace because the soot from the fire discolored it. Now, he’s scraping the outside door to my deck where the paint was coming off.
Hopefully, tomorrow the wallpaper I chose for the fourth wall/accent wall for the bedroom will arrive so I can select the paint. Without seeing the wallpaper (I bought it online at Home Depot because they promised 2 day delivery), I was afraid to buy the paint in case my computer display and my printer were off, color-wise.
So my blogpost is late today, and it’s just an update about what I’ve been up to.

Sorry, Hilda. I have been having technical issues with my website on and off since June. I had to have my site rebuilt, and then the theme was changed twice. Ugh. It seems to have been working without problems for the past couple of weeks. Thank you so much, for trying again xoxo
