Patchology Rose Eye Gels & Sheet Masks: Perfect for Spring Celebrations!

The spring typically starts the season for celebrations: Mother’s Day, graduations, weddings, and Memorial Weekend. Which events we celebrate in person are still rather up in the air as we get our COVID vaccinations but continue to be cautious. Nevertheless, in the nice weather we can get together more often and celebrate outdoors. After a year of seeing our friends and family either never or seldom, we want to look our best when we get together now!

That’s where Patchology comes in. When I think of eye gels, I think of Patchology. And for spring, they have a new celebratory collection inspired by one of the drinks we associate with spring celebrations: Rosé wine! I love rosé wine especially with bubbles. If you’re looking for a delicious, refreshing, yet affordable pink bubbly, check out Jacqueline Leonne Rosé. I get it at Total Wine. But I digress.

Patchology Rosé Eye Gels

Patchology Rosé Eye Gels are pale pink gels that are applied to the clean and dry undereye area. Like pink rosé bubbly, the gels even have little bubbles on them. How do they do that?

They go on easily and stay put until I remove them. They are formulated with:

  • antioxidants resveratrol from grapes and strawberry extract that help protect skin from environmental stressors that can create fine lines and wrinkles
  • hyaluronic acid to help delicate under eye skin retain moisture.

To make your 10 minutes or so of chillin’ even more relaxing (in addition to pouring yourself a glass of pink bubbly), keep the Patchology Rose Eye Gels in the refrigerator.  In other words, “serve chilled”!

After you remove and discard the gels, massage in any remaining eye serum. Your eyes will thank you!

The pretty, pale pink box contains 5 packets of Rosé Eye Gels and is priced between $12-15 depending on where you purchase them. They are $12 at Anthropologie, $12.75 at Nordstrom and Macy’s, and $15 at Ulta.com and Lovelyskin.com.  If you really fall in love with these like I have, you can pick up a jar of 15 pairs for $35 on the Patchology website. You can also buy them in the 5 pack or even singly on the Patchology website.

Ingredients:

strawberry extract: a rich source of vitamin c and folic acid, helps protect skin from free radicals while also softening the skin
resveratrol: a natural antioxidant found in grapes that helps protect skin and calm inflammation
hyaluronic acid: hydrates skin to help improve elasticity

plus: water (aqua/eau), glycerin, dipropylene glycol, ceratonia siliqua (carob) gum, chondrus crispus powder, butylene glycol, paeonia suffruticosa root extract, fragaria chiloensis (strawberry) fruit extract, hydrolyzed gardenia florida extract, centella asiatica extract, chondrus crispus extract, chamomilla recutita (matricaria) flower extract, resveratrol, 1,2-hexanediol, hyaluronic acid, cellulose gum, allantoin, algin, xanthan gum, glyceryl caprylate, betaine, potassium chloride, polysorbate 20, sucrose, ethylhexylglycerin, dextrin, maltodextrin, disodium edta, limonene, fragrance (parfum)

Patchology Rosé Sheet Masks

I am not typically a fan of sheet masks. Often they don’t fit me right. Sometimes they slide off unless I’m lying down. So I initially approached the Rosé Sheet Mask with trepidation. I needn’t have been concerned.

The pale pink Rosé Sheet Mask comes with slits around the bottom and sides of the lightweight paper fiber mask that make it easy to adjust the mask to my face. It wasn’t difficult to apply at all because it fit me better! Here’s the obligatory, hideous mask photo that I am showing you because I was able to layer the material on top of each other at the slits to fit me better around the jawline.

I washed and dried my face before application. And the Rosé Sheet Mask clung to my face with no slipping, even if I wasn’t able to lie down and relax while wearing it. What I love to do is put on the mask and sit up in bed watching TV, while my face is being pampered. Like the eye gels, you can keep the masks in the fridge for a relaxing, cooling sensation. Because it’s still so darn cold around here, I haven’t tried that yet, but I will when it finally warms up.

Also like the Rosé Eye Gels, the Rosé Sheet Masks contain antioxidants resveratrol and strawberry extract and hydrating hyaluronic acid.

After 10 minutes or so, I remove and discard the mask and massage the extra serum on my skin where it is absorbed in a few minutes. Lovely!

I was amazed at how plumped and refreshed my skin looked after the Rosé Sheet Mask. In fact, it was one of the most visible mask results I have experienced.

The box of 4 Rosé Sheet Masks is priced between $25-30 depending on where you purchase them right now. They are on sale for $25.50 at Nordstrom and Macy’s, and regularly priced at $30 at Bloomingdale’s, Saks, Neiman Marcus, and Lovelyskin.com.  You can buy the box of 4 for $30 on the Patchology website, where they are also sold singly for $8.

    1. I remembered that you are an eye gel fan, too!

  2. The eye gels would be ideal. The optometrist I saw today told me the problem I’m having is dry eye so these would be great to relax my eyes at the end of the day.

    1. I have had dry eye for 20 years, Marcia, and it is a pain, literally. I use Restasis 2x/day, and I have plugs put into my lower tear ducts to stop my tears from draining as fast. They help somewhat. I also have blepharitis (an eyelid issue), so I use a warm, wet compress for 10 minutes a day – which is very relaxing. I’m sorry you have dry eye, too. If you find a miracle solution, let me know!

  3. These sound nice! I’m loving the selfie! So cute! I need to look into good masks. A little me time/self pampering is needed.

Poshly sent these to me and I was delighted with them. Glad you got to use them too! Oh, also, in case Ipsy doesn’t bother to email you, Choice Day is Sunday! So make sure to head over to the site early and make your selections!

    1. Thank you for the head’s up on the Ipsy choices, Gabrielle! I am excited to see what you get in your mega bag in May! What is Poshly?? I am glad you got to try the Patchology Rose Eye Gels/Mask, they’re so relaxing!

      1. Gabrielle says:

Poshly is also now known as The Beauty Lucky. It’s a site/app where you answer survey questions and occasionally get the chance to try new and fun makeup and skincare items. My Ipsy replacement arrived today. It’s not the Nue serum.

        1. Poshly sounds like fun! On a different note, I am angry Ipsy didn’t send you The Nue Co. serum as your replacement. I am hoping maybe it will be in your big May box???

These sound amazing… and yes, alluring..
These days, I am loving anything that says “Rose”, kind of hooked on to the fragrance.. and that selfie is so cute.. i agree with the fitting part of sheet masks..they never fit my face.. 🙁 but this seems to be perfect.. making me crave for a nice sheet mask session soon…

    1. Neither the eye gels nor the sheet mask has a rose scent (I thought it might as well!), they are supposed to be pink, bubbly and cooling like chilled rose (I can’t add the “accent aigu” or acute accent unfortunately) wine or pink champagne. They are lovely nonetheless
