Paula’s Choice Updated Pro-Collagen Multi-Peptide Booster

A years or so ago, I received several of Paula’s Choice new boosters. They came in a variety of actives – Peptides, Niacinamide and Vitamin C – or at least those were the three I received. I liked and frankly still like all of them.

Not long ago, I received a hot pink box from Paula’s Choice. I opened it, and I erroneously thought they sent me a second bottle of the Peptide Booster. It took me a while till I realized that it is a new and updated product!

Original and New Paula’s Choice Pro-Collagen Multi-Peptide Booster

Paula’s Choice Pro-Collagen Multi-Peptide Booster

Importantly, the new and improved Peptide Booster really is new and improved. The original Peptide Booster contained an amino acid peptide. The updated Pro-Collagen Multi-Peptide Booster contains 6 peptides that promote the production of collagen. Usually, I might be skeptical about “new and improved” products, but this one makes an impressive claim. Paula’s Choice isn’t resting on their laurels with Peptide Booster, but they’ve made the “active” ingredient more active!

Here’s the description of the new product:

Rebuild, strengthen and firm skin at a deeper level with six pro-collagen peptides that deliver multi-layer support for results immediately + over time.

  • Peptide complex offers multi-layer support
  • Visibly smooths lines in 15 minutes
  • Clinically proven to visibly firm, plump & reduce wrinkles in 4 weeks
  • Silky, lightweight gel absorbs instantly

What makes the new product different:

Pro-Collagen Multi-Peptide Booster harnesses newly researched peptide technology to target key proteins in skin’s extracellular matrix to support collagen and elastin production. These signal proteins direct skin-beneficial substances to the optimal areas of skin to address signs of aging including crow’s feet, wrinkles & loss of firmness in four weeks.

Six cutting-edge repairing pro-collagen peptides take cues from substances found in skin’s deeper dermal-epidermal junction to support and visibly improve facial architecture. Hydrating hyaluronic acid and strengthening amino acids further firm, plump + smooth skin in as little as 15 minutes.

My Experience So Far with New Multi-Peptide Booster

The new Multi-Peptide Booster comes in the same heavy glass bottle with a plastic dropper inside. The booster is a translucent liquid-gel. The dropper does a great job dosing one drop at a time. Two-three drops is enough to cover my entire face.

Multi-Peptide Booster has an almost immediate firming and plumping benefit. Right after applying it to my face, the booster starts to tighten, lift and firm, as the drops dry. It feels quite amazing. (The tightening sensation to my skin goes away after a few minutes.)

The booster can be used twice a day, morning and evening. During the day, it is strongly recommended to apply sunscreen after applying, but most of us would use sunscreen anyway.

Using it twice a day over time, I hope I will see some permanent results in terms of reduced lines and wrinkles! In the meantime, it is easy to add this booster to my routine. And I am happy to feel an immediate effect from using it. Love it!

That sounds like something I want to add to my routine!

    1. It’s another wonderful product from Paula’s Choice. Worth the add!

I’m a big fan of all Paula’s products. I purchased this booster but not sure I’m seeing any discernable difference yet. However, her new RESIST
Triple Active Total Repair Serum is fantastic. My skin looks different somehow – it feels firmer and more even toned. Honestly, though, I think everything she makes is awesome. I never have an adverse reaction to anything. I can always feel confident in trying new products because of that.

    1. I’ve been using the new PC Multi-Peptide Booster just for a week and a half so it’s too soon to tell for me. But peptides are having more than a moment in everything – in fact, my review tomorrow is on peptides in hair treatments. I’ll keep going with it because it’s just so easy to add it to whatever else I’m using. How long have you been using it, Diana?

Sounds terrific. PC is such a great brand and one I now admire for their being willing to change things up and not stick just with what made it famous.

    1. Right! But I had to laugh that I thought Paula’s Choice was just sending me another bottle. It took me a while to notice that it was a new and improved version of the original Peptide Booster. Although they changed the “name”, I didn’t notice it because the colors of the bottle remained the same. LOL, silly me.

  4. Gabi Moul says:

Did you like the original product as well?

    1. Yes, I liked the original which they have replaced with this one. I think this is a better and more efficacious serum
