You know I’m a super big fan of PCA Skin’s Ideal Complex Eye gel. It’s definitely one of my all-time faves, and I’ve bought it at least 3 times.
Literally, as I was walking out the door to leave for vacation, I received a package from PCA Skin. I quickly opened it before I left, and I found a set of travel size skincare goodies. Needless to say, I took them with me to Savannah, and I’m glad I did. In fact, I’ve already used them up, boo hoo.
So now that I’m back and my guests have departed, I want to get this review and giveaway up so that 3 lucky winners, yes three!, can win a set of PCA Skin Summertime Essentials travel size minis to take with them on an end of summer vacay or use them at home to get acquainted with this effective, luxury skincare brand.

Great for both morning and nighttime use, this pH balanced, fragrance free clear gel works up to a light lather and leaves skin feeling clean and hydrated. Perfect for me for summer when I don’t need a rich, creamy cleanser. Key ingredients are lactic acid, aloe and willow bark. Full size $32
I practically drank this lightweight, hydrating, clear liquigel serum while we were visiting Tybee Island and Savannah. The sizzling sun and high temperatures did a number on my skin, and it just drank up this terrific serum. Sadly, it’s finished now, but I will consider buying it when Dermstore has a sale because it contains my two favorite hydrating ingredients: sodium hyaluronate and niacinamide. Full size $77
When I saw the name, Clearskin, it kind of threw me. I thought this little moisturizer was ONLY for oily skin or skin with acne, and I was concerned that it would be too lightweight for my dry skin. Thankfully, I was wrong. Although it does reduce redness and breakouts and it balances oil production, it can be used for any skin type. It’s a gel-cream that looks and feels very similar to one of my faves, belif Aqua Bomb. It feels very hydrating on my skin yet still lightweight. It contains 4% niacinamide that also makes me happy. Weightless Protection Broad Spectrum SPF 45
I wore this lightweight, fast absorbing daytime moisturizer with sunscreen everyday on vacation. The formula is a physical/chemical sunscreen hybrid with zinc oxide and octinoxate. I was so happy to have this travel size, high SPF sunscreen to bring with me. Not surprisingly, it is sadly finished. I loved it. It contains caffeine and milk thistle for extra environmental protection. Full size $44.
Cosmetic Bag
The set comes in a sturdy, clear plastic cosmetics bag with the PCA Skin logo. It’s quite roomy, and it holds a lot of stuff!
I’m not sure of the exact value of the Summertime Essentials set, but I would say it’s around $50. Each travel size mini contains enough product for about 10 days – that’s how long they lasted for me. I think this set is perfect for protecting skin during the summer or warm weather at any time of year, and it is a terrific way to try out PCA Skin’s products.

PCA is a new to me brand that I have not tried yet. After reading your reviews I can see that these are must try items. I live in the Tropics and use sunscreen products every day of the year. Sun damage combined with aging skin is a great reason to try PCA.

I want to win because it’s always fun to try new stuff. You never know when you might hit upon your few fave! The serum and moisturiser sound really nice. I’m still unsure about zinc in my spf but I did slowly reintroduce it via one of my foundations, and as long as I keep it out of the orbital zone (I’ve always had better luck just using concealer around my eyes anyways) and don’t touch my eyes after touching my face…it usually works out okay. Ha that sounded much better before I wrote it out. Now it sounds like “why on earth would she do that to herself?!? Just stay away from the zinc for cryin out loud!” LOL! Yeah, if I don’t want to risk it I can always share with someone else and then it’s like we had one more winner. 🙂

I’m not familiar with this brand, but this sounds like an awesome travel kit. I’ve been dealing with adult cystic acne for the last few months after switching brands, I really want to get it under control again.

This is a brand that is new to me but that there is so many products that I have never heard of.

I want to win because the sunscreen sounds like one I really need to try! I currently use a fairly high-end one that is decent, but it doesn’t absorb all that well and I have been looking for another good brand to try. I work outside almost every day and I’m in my 50’s now so I like to spend a little more on higher quality skincare products. I would love to try that serum and the sunscreen especially, but everything looks wonderful.
